I had narrowed down my feelings for the brunette setter down to two things. Either I did find myself attracted to him, or it was nothing more than admiration.

There was no doubt that Oikawa was stubborn and great with his team, so there wasn't any reason for romatics to be involved. After all, we both had bigger problems.

"Focus!" Rinka's voice echoed in the room. I hardly blinked at the noise, as it had almost become repetitive after the first hour of studying. Oikawa was all for a group study session until he found out that Rinka would be attending.

"But Taji-"

"I'm finished," Iwaizumi sighed. "You would be too if you stopped arguing with her."

"No fair," the setter pouted. "Everyone's ganging up on me."

I rolled my eyes before shutting my book with a rather loud smack. I turned in my seat to get a better look at the notes the brunette had on his paper.

"You keep getting stuck because you forget a basic step," I pointed out. As he stared in shock at his paper, I nodded towards the kitchen. Rinka was quickly dragged off by Iwaizumi before she could do any lasting harm to the setter.

The two hid in the kitchen for a good while, my parents keeping them company. I continued to read, occasionally answering Oikawa as he got stuck on a problem.

"I don't think I've heard Trashykawa so quiet while studying..."

"I'm more shocked at Anzu. She never stops reading for someone so willingly..."

They're conversations weren't the quietest, but it was clear that Oikawa hadn't heard a word that was said as he scratched out his previous answer.

In the corner of my eye, I saw four heads peering out of the door. I quickly shot them a glare, and my parents pulled away.

"Say, Anzu-chan, would you like to come over to my place one day?" His question was certaintly unexpected.

"Ask me again later once you've finished," I quickly replied, turning the page in my book.

"Your so mean..." he sighed, sounding completely unfazed.

"Trashykawa, if you don't hurry up and finish-" I quickly cut myself off. "Please just keeping going..."

There was no response. Slightly concerned, I looked up only to see the brunette had a look of extreme concentration on his face. I felt the corner of my lips tug up, and I quietly slipped away to the kitchen.

"Anzu-chan! I'm finished!" I hadn't been gone for very long. In fact, I was absolutely shocked at how fast he had worked.

At some point, Rinko and Iwaizumi had left, leaving me alone with the brunette boy. I carried two mugs and some snacks on a tray as I left the kitchen.

"My father made up some stuff for us," I told him, placing it on the table. "However, I find it hard to believe you did all that work so quickly."

Oikawa stuttered excuses and bits of phrases as he tried to stop me from going over his work. There wasn't a sign of eraser marks on his last questions, unlike each one before. As I looked closer, his previous marks were clearer.

"Oikawa..."

"I can explain-"

"Do tell me why you wasted a full three hours pretending to not understand your assignments."

"Well, I... When you put it that way it sounds bad!"

I glared at him. "Then tell me how you would word it."

"I was partially just trying to spend more time with you!" Oikawa quickly spat out.

I blinked. "If you hadn't messed around, we could have done something other than sit at a table doing assignments."

"I guess I didn't really think it through..." he sighed, scratching his head. "At least half of my plan worked!"

Picking up the mess of pages, I nodded for him to continue.

"Taji-chan and Iwaizumi left!" he brightly cheered.

"And that's a good thing, how?"

"Come on, Anzu-chan! Can't you see it?" Oikawa gasped. "The two of them are totally into each other!"

I pushed up my glasses. The papers in my hands started to slip, and I quickly fixed them. After a pause, I finally managed to collect my thoughts.

"You're telling me, that you wasted valuble time- that could have been used for a number of things- to try and get our friends to hook up? Simply because you claim to see how they feel?"

"You suck at wording things Anzu-chan."

"Maybe you just stink at thinking things through Trashykawa."

"Don't call me that Anzu-chan! It's mean..."

"Stop pouting first."
