The next morning I woke up, with the same adrenaline I had yesterday. I was mainly excited to see Juan, but the bad thing was that I had maths again. I forgot to say, we had maths everyday.

I walked through the school entrance, with a smile on my face. I 'tried' to act confident, like really 'tried'. I grabbed my books and headed to maths, Oh and I forgot to say, that I actually studied a little bit last night. Just as I was walking to my seat a hand tapped my shoulder. I spun around to see the teacher smiling, "Did you study last night Dalisay?" She said curiously. Again all the students walked in and rolled their eyes. Surely they'd be used to the maths routine, the first thing they witness every time they walk in, is me getting interrogated my the teacher. "Yes miss, just a bit though." I mumbled, looking at her innocently. "It's better than nothing...and how did it go?" She questioned. "Um it was alright..." I glanced back at the class, boi did they look pissed off. I turned to go to my seat, but got tripped and fell awkwardly. I think it was a sign that the class had seen enough of me getting roasted by the maths teacher, and actually wanted to learn. Juan was looking at me, smirking.

The lesson dragged on, I was avoiding attention and trying to do my work. When all of the sudden the teacher called my name. "Alright Dalisay! It's your turn to answer the equation, everyone in this class has done one, but you. Come up here." She exclaimed holding out the whiteboard marker. I gulped and steadily walked to the front, holy shit. I grabbed the marker and looked at her pleadingly, please...no...I don't know... She didn't seem to get the message. "Dalisay come on..." She muttered. I looked at it, the equation. I freaked out, what the hell was I suppose to do?! I listened to my gut, and 'attempted' to work it out. I could hear everyone lightly snickering, and I turned around to see Juan sitting there, eyeing me. "Umm Dalisay, that is incorrect but good try..." The teacher cringed. I slammed the marker on her desk and everyone flinched. This was bullshit, I didn't have a clue what to do. I wasn't upset, I looked like more of a "I don't give a shit anymore." person, now.

After maths finished I strolled out of the classroom, and put my books away. It was now recess, so I decided to go for a walk. I walked around the school, hands in pockets. Why did I have to be so shit at maths...I sat down on a massive flat rock and started to daydream. I jumped when I felt two hands grip my waist. I turned around to see Juan sitting down beside me. he wanted to grip my waist for 'support'. But I'm pretty sure he was doing it for other reasons. "Hey!" he said. "Hi..." I replied, as I looked into his eyes. "I'll help you...for maths..." He exclaimed. "Oookayy...thank you...only if you don't mind..." I said hesitantly. "Anything for you." He winked. "Wha-" I nearly questioned. "You have beautiful hazel eyes..." He whispered. I blushed "Thank you..."
