Twilight's POV
'W-w-what?!' was the first i said after Rainbow told me the news a few days ago..
TIME SKIP
Today was the last day of me staying in the hospital. Rainbow stayed in the hospital, accompanying me throughout my stay in the hospital. The others did come along whenever Rainbow would go back after school. I've caught up on materials from school bcs of the girls, well mostly with Fluttershy's help with tutoring me a little bit and giving me some notes to copy throughout the subject. whenever Rainbow can't come back after school, Pinkie would be there to cheer me up and entertain me to kill the time of me waiting for Rainbow to come. Sunset would come along as well, also helping me with school stuff along the way. Applejack would come here with a bunch of delicious foods for all of us, they were amazing and very delicious. All in all, the girls helped me a lot physically and mentally throughout my recovery. Rainbow helped me the most though, not to be biased since she is my girlfriend, but she was really caring and letting me open up to her better than I've ever opened up to my own family members. Letting her know about my past was traumatizing for me to tell anyone, but her telling me that she won't judge me in any way was convincing me to tell my past that was haunting me for these past years..

Narrator's POV
7 year old Twilight, bullied and neglected by her own parents. Her own brother wasn't even there for her throughout her pain and suffering. Her parents would always favorized her brother, 13 year old Shining Armor that would constantly get awards for any subject. They both went to the same school, born by the same mother, but the way they were treated were completely different ways. The teachers, the school's principal and all of the students would praise and adored Shining Armor a lot to the point that Shining Armor became super cocky and too confident for his own good. Twilight on the other hand, was always second best between her brother. She would participate in competitions as well, and get first place, but her position would always be second for her parents and the whole school. Her parents would pressure her to be the best, but never said any encouraging words for her. It will always be, "be smarter!" or "you'll never be any better like your own brother." those words would get stuck in her head every single day from a young age. She didn't realized those words were affecting her childhood. She started being alone, her recess consisting of endless studying in the library, getting as much knowledge as she can so she can be at least acknowledged by her parents, her brother, the students, her teachers and her school's principal. Her weekends consists of studying from the second she wakes up until she feels satisfied with herself, which ended up having her sleep schedule messed up. She would not do anything for a whole day but studying, not eating and not even showering, which made her feel weak and made her thinner than ever. Her parents didn't bother to care, as they were too busy spoiling their first child. This went on until she was around 16 years old.
10 years later / now
She's now 17 years old, her brother being 23 years old. Her brother is currently in college near their house, because his parents couldn't afford leaving the elder. Twilight has now gotten used to this, her parents doesn't spoil her brother as much since he's an adult now, but would sometimes brag about their son and kept comparing him to Twilight. Twilight kept the studying pattern she has been dealing with for the past 10 years, but still got second best from her parents. Her parents had started to talk to her more, but she just pushed them away thinking it was just an act so that she would be better. She still studied, but not to the point it was torturing herself just to satisfy two people. Because of her studying pattern, she has started to win first place at competitions, get the honorable student award every year and many other awards. Getting an A+ was a piece of cake for her now. Other students started to admire her as well, but that wasn't enough for her parents. Their standards were high, but not as high as the standards they put on her older brother. She did care for what others think of her, like how she looks, how she dressed, how she styled her hair and the list goes on. That was probably one of the affects from her harsh childhood, getting bullied for studying 24/7 and not having any friends for those past few years. She remembered telling her girlfriend this, every single detail went out. After her telling all about that, she felt relieved. She felt like the heavy weight around was being lifted after her story has been told. Rainbow felt extremely bad for her, and swore to her life that she would never leave Twilight and that's a fact.
They've been dating for about 3 years now, both at the age of 20 and just started college. All of her friends went abroad for college, Rarity went to Paris for continuing her fashion design career, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Sunset Shimmer went out of town and studied in the same college, just in different majors. Applejack decided to study college around her family's farm area, but promised to visit her friends whenever they would meet up once a year. Twilight majored in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, as for Rainbow she majored in Interior Design and Architect, thinking the major was interesting for her. They still loved each other deeply, became roommates and sharing their one bed in the dorm. Applejack and Rarity ended up together a few months before Rarity announced that she had to go abroad for college, having Applejack and her in a long distance relationship. Both of them still loved each other, both craving the other's hugs and kisses every now and then. Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich got together, and they're the happiest and the funniest couple ever existed. But, all in all all of us are happy with the life we are living right now.
I used to think that i would never fall in love. But, as cliché as it sounds, even though we're different, despite that she taught me how love other people, and to love myself.

ya girl finally updated !! hOORAYY and just to clarify that this IS the last "We're Different" chapter and that means the book has ended. ik the ending is quiet cliché and all but i hav a soft spot for fluff so fITE ME IF YOU DONT LIKE IT !! ok no tbh hehe. this is actually the fIRST ever book Dora has ever finished and.. I AM A HAPPY GAL !! i feel like i might take a hUGE hiatus for the next few months, mostly because of school, so yea. I'd still be active here and reading books, just probably not write a lot. i might just update my random book i have here. bUT anyways, i wanna thank everyone who has waited for this chapter, for reading this book, for voting this book, and for making this book one of your favs like sksksksk- i can't y'all are too sweet <3 anyways, my back has been hurting for a while, so imma go and read more of ma boys book.
