Everything I didn't say

Chapter 3

*Taylor's POV*

I could tell by the way Morgan was acting that she definitely liked the new kid. Me and Cam decided we would try to get them together.

So, during PE which both Morgan and I had with Michael, we decided to get into a group of 3 to toss around a basketball. We talked to Michael to get to know him and found out he sings and is in a band. Personally I'm not into band guys but I knew Morgan was falling in love with this boy by the second just because of the look on her face. Michael must have noticed too.

"Uh, excuse me... Morgan?"

Morgan snapped out of her day dream and looked up "yeah?"

"You were kind of staring at me.."

"Oh, right. Sorry.." she replied shyly.

I had to bite my lip to hide my laugher.

*Morgan's POV*

Just as I thought I liked this kid, he has to be rude and point out the fact that I was staring at him. Great.

Finally the bell rang signaling for us to get changed and head to our 3rd period class. We left Michael and went to change. The next class I have is with Michael and it's math. Something I'm pretty good at. I walked out of the locker room, not even turning to look for Michael. If he wanted to be rude, so could I.

I made my way to Math and when I walked in, I noticed the popular girls Lacey and Lauren talking to Michael. My heart immediately sank to my stomach and I had no clue why.

I took my seat in the back and could only hope to get this class over with. But to my luck, just as class is about to start, Mr. Robson seats Michael next to Lacey.

By now I'm sure my face was red with jealousy. I barely knew this kid, why was I feeling this way. The last 5 minutes of class I managed to pay attention. Once the bell rang I quickly got up and walked to music. Luckily I had some friends in that class. No, Taylor's not in it because music isn't her thing. Because I play an instrument, I went to the back and got it then sat down in my seat next to my friends Thorn, a girl with short brown hair and bright blue eyes, and Charli, who also had brown hair and piercing green eyes. I guess you could say he was pretty cute. He had some piercings which I liked but he didn't really seem like boyfriend material.

I watched Michael go up to Mrs.Bato and explain that he was new and would be singing. That means he'd be in front of every one playing instruments during class. He scanned the room and when he saw me, we locked eyes for a split second. I felt my stomach flip.

After about 40 minutes of playing instruments it was time for lunch. On my way out I went with Taylor and Cameron to the Cafeteria. When we got there and sat down, Michael came with his brown bagged lunch and sat next to Cameron and across from me. I must have looked as confused as Taylor because Cameron started laughing and explained to us that he had invited Michael to sit with us at lunch. I guess you could say Taylor wasn't too happy about it because she never really liked guys with piercings on their faces. I didn't care though and shrugged it off.

My classes with Mikey (he told us to call him that) were done for the day and I kind of felt sad I wouldn't get to see his beautiful face the rest of the day.
