"Hiro come down here and pick up your game, if I trip over it one more time I'm throwing it away!" Anatsu yelled upstairs to her son.
Grimmjow was supposed to get back into town yesterday, but apparently he got held up at the airport. Her dad had been managing the both of their MMA careers, but it wasn't until recently that Grimmjow's had gotten his own dad to be his manager. It was actually quite funny, there was always this angry blonde German male at all his fights, yelling in his native tongue at Grimmjow. The press had a field day when they figured out that angry man was his father, and an even bigger fit when they found out that Grimmjow and Anatsu had kids together.
They had been trying to keep that information out of the spotlight, but with Takara and Hiro's growing excitement of going to their fights. It didn't have a chance of staying a secret for more than two years as the kids got older.
And it didn't help that, before Dairin and Renji had Grimm, they went to a gala. And one of the very few MMA women's fighters, that knew about the kids and her delicate family situation, blew everything out of the water at the event. That just so happened to be the woman who was carrying the world champion title, and the woman Anatsu had her eyes on to fight next. She blurted out the information, at the event in front of the paparazzi, as Grimmjow and herself were taking pictures. She was looking to start a fight and Anatsu was more than happy to give it to her.
So now the press have some fun trying to follow the small family around on their vacations, trying to get shots of the kids that they could use to their advantage. Or trying to zoom in and see if there was a ring on her finger yet.
She doubted that they would get photos of the latter before they got good ones for the former. He wasn't going to propose anytime soon, and to the surprise of all her friends and family, she was completely okay with that. Well it has been about 5 years since he came back... almost six, so she's definitely not holding her breath on it.
"Okay mom!" Hiro yelled back as he ran down the stairs. "When does dad come home?"
"I don't know, he hasn't called me yet. He was supposed to be home yesterday, but he said something about their flight being delayed. So he should be home today, why are you so excited?" Anatsu asked as she padded along the carpeted living room to get the vacuum.
"No reason, but dad said he was going to show me how to get out of some different holds this weekend." Hiro's eyes brightened up at the thought, as he kneeled down and picked up his controllers off the floor.
Anatsu just giggled, and ruffled her son's blue and lavender locks as she walked past him.
"Mom! Stop it, I'm not 4 anymore." Hiro complained fixing his hair.
Anatsu full on laughed, "I know that, but you are always going to be my baby boy!"
She turned around, grabbed her son's face and planted a kiss on his cheek, embarrassing him to the fullest. He stood up and gave her a hug, trying to hide his face from her.
Anatsu had a wave of nostalgia hit her. She could remember when he would laugh at her kisses and run up hugging her legs. He was a small little toddler, but now he was half a foot shorter than her. He was towering over the kids in his school, and was above average height for a 9 year old. He stood at 4 feet 9 inches, taller than the average 11 year old boy. She blamed the men in his family tree, Grimmjow was 6 foot 1, her father was 6 foot 7 1/2, Grimmjow's dad was 6 foot 3.
"Mom!" Takara yelled, as she ran down the stairs.
Hiro rolled his eyes, and let go of his mother going back to picking up his gaming system. Anatsu shook her head waiting for her daughter to give them the information that they all were waiting for. Since she was the definition of a Daddy's girl, she was always in contact with Grimmjow.
