Chapter 7
"What the fuck happened?" Luke yelled. "Emmett, is that you?"
I jumped up, and saw Luke and screamed.
"What am I doing here?" I tried recalling anything that happened last night, but my mind went blank.
"I'm naked, are you naked?" Luke asked. I looked down my blanket, and saw my nude body.
"No," I lied.
"Really?"
"No," I sighed.
"Oh my god..." Luke freaked out.
"Luke, my ass really hurts. And my hips," I looked down and saw what could be hand prints.
"You don't think I...?" Luke gulped.
"And your neck..." I said, "You have bruises all over your neck, and chest. Please tell me you don't have any bruises lower than that."
"Uh," Luke looked down too, "Yup, I don't have any bruises lower that."
"That's the truth?" I almost felt secure.
"Well, the that's not the truth," Luke said, "I'm sorry."
"Yeah, I am too," I said. I heard footsteps, but I was paralyzed by fear. John opened the door,
"I heard yelling so I thought you guys you were playing that game again," John said. Luke's face lost all of his color.
"W-what game, Johnny?" Luke stammered.
"I don't know, but you were both sweaty, and you were on top of Emmett on the couch in your living room. You told me I couldn't play because I had to find someone very important to me," John said, "But you guys were making a lot of noise."
I suddenly remembered everything. I smacked my face into my knees.
"Oh. Okay. Well, Johnny, that's a secret game, okay? Don't tell anyone what you saw," Luke still sounded mortified. John pretended to zip his mouth closed then ran upstairs.
"I remember everything," I said.
"Yeah, me too," Luke said. "I'm so glad my brother didn't see it all."
"Don't you feel bad lying to him about it though?" I said.
"Well, he's only seven," Luke laughed, "And I'd rather lie to him than have my mom find out I found out I fucked you on her grandmothers quilt."
He pulled out the quilt from underneath the two of us an three it aside. I laughed hard, and so did he.
"I'm not sorry it happened," Luke said after he stopped laughing.
"Yeah, I don't think I am either," I smiled. "If I remember the ending correctly, I could possibly be pregnant."
I patted my stomach. He laughed, then punched me like he always did.
"Sorry about that," Luke blushed.
"I think I have to go," I got up. Luke turned away from my nakedness. I laughed, "Don't act so innocent!"
"It's embarrassing!" Luke said.
"I don't think we have anything to hide from each other," I said. Luke laughed, then shrugged. He threw the blanket off of himself too and stood proudly. I pushed him playfully, "Don't make it weird."
Luke pulled me in for a hug. I looked up at him.
"What's this for?"
"For a somewhat unforgettable night," Luke said, "I feel like we're better friends because of it."
The words hit me like daggers. Luke was an idiot. He actually fucked me on his couch and thought of us as friends still. I didn't want to ruin anything.
"It's weird because I feel the same way," I lied.
"I'll walk you up to the door," Luke pulled on his shorts.
--
Summer ended. We were seniors in high school, and I was even more sexually frustrated than before. The night Luke took me and made me his was an unforgettable one. Luke agreed, but because "it made us better friends." I wanted to kiss and punch him at the same time. A month into school and I was ready to leave high school already. I loved Luke even more, and he made that a lot harder to handle with his charm. The worst part yet was that Luke had a girlfriend. The weird thing was Luke didn't get her through me. I didn't hate her, but I didn't like her. I didn't care to like her either. I know it was her fault she was dating Luke at the same time that I liked him. What was I supposed to do?
"Nice tank top, fag," I was interrupted mid-thought by an idiot purposefully bumping into me.
"Excuse you, meat bag," I snarled. Luke heard the comment, and I felt his angry aura emit off of him.
"What did you say?" Luke said. Like a giant, he walked through me completely unaffected by my grasp. I tried restraining him.
"Calm down, Luke, it's not worth it," I said.
"Listen to your housewife, Da-" the Neanderthal was cut off from Luke pouncing on him. He swiftly punched the boy underneath, and didn't stop until a strong teacher pulled him off.
"Luke, what the hell are you doing?" The teacher yelled. I didn't know what to do. I was really afraid Luke was going to get in trouble. I'll surely kill him if he does.
"He was bothering me," Luke wiped his bloody knuckles. The boy was crying, and even though I was a little satisfied, I was angry that Luke would do something so stupid.
"See you later," Luke nodded at me as he was pulled away into the main office.
After that, school was even more dreadful that before. I waited for the last bell to ring so I could run to see Luke because I knew they suspended him. Finally it rang, and I bolted to my car. I sped through traffic and pulled into his driveway. His mom greeted me at the door before talking to me about how stupid Luke was. I agreed because I was really angry at him. She laughed, and encouraged me when I told her why I came to their house. I marched downstairs to see him sitting on his couch. He stood up,
"I thought I might-" He began, but I cut him off, by roughly slapping him across the face. He frowned, but I beat him to yelling,
"You ever do something that stupid again, I will blow up, and blow up bigger than I am now. I could not be angrier at you right now,"
"I'm sorry, geez," Luke rubbed his face, "It just got me really mad and I snapped."
"You're such an asshole," I said, as I burst into tears, and forced him to hug me. He laughed, and that only made me sob harder.
"Don't cry, come on I hate it when you cry," Luke said sweetly.
"Please don't do anything that stupid again," I wiped my nose.
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry," Luke hugged me again. "Let's watch a movie, eh?"
"What are we watching?" I asked.
"Titanic. The romance is for you," Luke grinned.
"How do you even know that I'd like the romance?" I said. He rolled his eyes. Before I realized it, I fell asleep in his couch. When I woke up, I noticed he fell asleep on my lap. I didn't dare wake his beautiful slumber, so I drifted back into sleep.
