An Offer

Izuku Midoriya had always dreamt of being a hero. That was when he was younger and more carefree. Finding out that he never had a quirk was devastating to the younger version of him. Having no quirk, meant that he was defenceless against other people and his dream of becoming the top hero was crushed. Now, up atop the rooftop, standing nearby was his one and only idol, All Might.

 "Is it possible, that I could become a hero, even if I didn't have a quirk?" Izuku fidgeted with his thumbs, anxious for All Might's answer. Unknowingly to Izuku, the hero had deflated, leaving a smaller, skin and bones frame.  Midoriya looked up, just in time to see the idol, the hero All Might, or was it...? "UWAH! W-wait, who are you?" the fourteen-year-old boy asked.

Despite the confusion, All Might explained what had happened five years ago, and after he replied to Midoriya's initial question. "Being a hero is dangerous. So can you be a hero? Well, not without a quirk." He replied before walking away.

Izuku stood there in silent realization sunk in. Soon after, he started to walk down the stairs of which All Might had walked down. "I guess Kacchan was right..." he mumbled dejectedly. "I can't become a hero after all." He sighed.

~~~~~
The next day, while running late to school, Izuku used the alleyway that he usually used as a shortcut. "Hopefully Kacchan won't be too mean today..." As he got closer to his destination, he couldn't help but notice that Bakugo, or Kacchan, seemed to be waiting for him near the front of the school. Bakugo seemed more in the alleyway than anything. He pulled Izuku over to him.
"Oi, Deku!" The explosive boy yelled aggressively. Bakugo's eyes were narrow, and his fists were clenched. "What took you so long?" he asked as he grabbed Izuku by the blazer of the uniform.
"A-ah! Kacchan! I-I'm sorry!" Izuku cried, waving his hands around quite nervously. "I was just runnin—"
"I don't care what excuse you have!" Bakugo growled. "I'm using you as my punching bag today." That sentence sent chills down Izuku's spine. The one scenario he wanted to avoid was coming true.
"W-wait! Please! Kacchan you can't do this!" Izuku exclaimed, but Bakugo had already cornered Izuku to the wall.
"Who says I can't, huh?! Quirk-less Deku!" After saying that, Bakugo proceeded to pummel the green haired boy with plenty of punches and a couple kicks.
~~~~~

A peculiar blue haired man walked through that very same alleyway later that day. What he didn't expect seeing a young boy, collapsed on the ground, covered in bruises, and completely knocked out. But seeing that, it reminded him of what he was before his master had come along and helped him.

Deciding it was probably a good idea to help the green haired boy, as the boy seemed to have been laying there for a while, and it didn't seem like there would be anyone else coming by to help anytime soon. Pulling out his phone, the blue-haired man dialled a number and called it. "Hey, Kurogiri? Can you come over here right now? I think we just found a possible new recruit.

Not even a second after, the man who seemed to be made of only black gas or smoke appeared through a purplish black portal. "Who is this that you are talkin—" Kurogiri stopped when he noticed the young boy that was passed out on the ground. "We must give him medical attention immediately," he muttered, before forming a portal and taking them back to the bar.

Kurogiri grabbed the first aid kit to tend to the young boy's wounds. There was some blood left over on his shirt. Kurogiri guessed the boy might have been punched in the nose. He looked for signs of a broken bone. Luckily, there was none. Afterwards, they set a futon out for the young boy.

The next day, Izuku woke to some rather... interesting people. Well, there were only two of them, but they were still people. "W-who are you?" he asked, confused. The last thing he remembered was Bakugo beating him up, and telling him to kill himself.

The blue-haired man answered, "That doesn't matter right now... There's only one question I wanted to ask you..."

Izuku looked uncertain but nodded anyway. "What is it?" he asked, curious.

"Will you join us? Would you like to be apart... of the League of Villians?" the blue-haired villain asked. There was a hand-like mask on his face.

"W-what? Why?" Izuku stuttered, now that Izuku knew that they were villains, it was a lot scarier to him. Thus his problem of being quirk-less.

"We thought you seemed good enough, and you seemed like you needed some help, passed out in that alleyway. You must have been there for a while, yet no one, not even a hero bothered to help." the villain explained.

"B-but, why would you want me to join?" Izuku asked. "I don't even have a quirk..."

"Well, why don't you put that to work? You know the heroes will never truly help you." This villain seemed very convincing.

"Maybe it would be better to join them... After all, even All Might said so..." Izuku thought.

"I... accept your offer."
