"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Wake up!"
I quickly shoot up from my makeshift bed to see the kind man Jun Ha. Jun Ha was actually the one who found me when I passed out in the village. He offered to take me in, but I refused so he decided to just check up on me every once in a while. He's been doing this for a total of eight years making me twenty at the moment.
During these eight years, I've improved my character writing, practiced using various weapons, and have figured out who destroyed my village. I ended up concluding that someone from inside the wall were the ones who killed my family. Ever since then, I've trained so nothing like that happens ever again.
"(Y/n), I brought you some breakfast. I had some left over from my house." Jun Ha states with a kind smile on his face.
Seeing immediately through his lie, I consider if I want to take the food. Jun Ha always makes extra food on 'accident'. And it somehow always ends up with me. But hey, it's not like I'm complaining.
I quickly thank him and begin to get ready for my day. I brush out my (h/l), (h/c) hair, untangling any of the knots that may have been created as I was sleeping. I put it into a sloppy (h/s) and quickly put on my banji and my long jeogori. I could never get used to wearing a chima.
I quickly slip on Soe Yeon's bracelet and head out the door while putting my shoes on at the same time. Today , I decided, was going to be the day I prepared to go over the wall. I walked through the town looking for any possible items I could need. All I could think of would be some food. I would get my sword inside the wall since our village didn't have great weapons.
I purchased my food and briskly walked back home in order to grab a cloth to hold it. I then spent the rest of the day walking around town. I had decided that at the end of the day, before I left, I would thank Jun Ha for all of his help.
The sun soon began to set and I walked over to Jun Ha's house. I see him infront of his home and quickly walk over to him.
"Jun Ha. I would like to thank you for helping me these past eight years. I probably wouldn't have survived without you. Thank you!" I bow my head to try and make my gratitude more sincere. I was never very good at these kind of things.
"(Y/n)? Why do you thank me?" He asks. Confusion written all over his face.
" Jun Ha. I am leaving tonight. I am very grateful for your help, but I must continue moving. I have stayed here long enough." I say with my head still down.
"Your such a kind boy (Y/n). I thank you for coming to see me before you left. I would've worried if you weren't their to wake up" he chuckles
I slightly wince as I remember that Jun Ha still thought I was a boy. I guess I shouldn't have expected anything else. I wear men's clothing and my face isn't SUPER feminine. I guess it just wasn't feminine enough.
         "Goodbye, Jun Ha." I say.
And with that, I began to walk towards the wall. I don't look back and I keep my mind focused on the thought of making it too the wall. I try to stay out of the moons direct beams as to not highlight my presence.
I make it safely to the wall and began to scan around the area for a tree I could climb. I had stupidly forgot to bring anything to climb with, so I guess a tree will half to do. I spot a perfect tree with a small distance from the top of the wall.
I quickly climb up the tree and begin to prepare myself for the jump. I calm my breathing, close my eyes for a moment, and then jump. My eyes are still closed, even as I land. I had heard tails of the bodies and heads on the wall. I didn't need to see such a sight.
I turn my head to the floor and begin to find my way into the town. Surprisingly, even at this hour, their are people walking around. I go through a small checklist in my head of the things I need. I decided I needed to get nicer bangi and jeogori. I quickly search around for a place were I could find such items.
My eyes rest on a merchant with a wagon full of clothing items. A plan begins to develop in my head. I sigh at the thought of how annoying this was going to be if I got caught.
I snuck up behind the cart and waited for the merchant to get distracted. Lucky for me, it didn't take very long for the mans attention to be drawn to something else. I took my chance and grabbed one banji and jeogori. I then slinked away from the cart and found a place to change. I then discarded my old clothes and began looking for a place to stay.
I was walking until I came across a group of people fighting in what what seemed like a temple, but I wouldn't know. I slightly sidestepped to avoid getting punched in the face.
The man who threw the punch stared at me and then asked me a question
"Are you with Ban Ryu or Suho?" He questioned.
"Su- Su who?" I muttered to myself
I definitely didn't know a Suho....but I also didn't know a Ban Ryu. I didn't even know why I was here. I just wanted to find a place to stay! I don't even know what's happening!
"Well! Who are you with!? Are you with Ban Ryu or Su-" and he didn't get to finish his sentence because everyone was surrounded by soldiers.
One of the soldiers stepped forward and began to talk about how they were fighting on sacred grounds and that they would have to come with them. I tuned at the rest as I began to walk away, or at least, try to walk away. I was stopped by a guard.
"Where do you think your going?" He asked.
"Oh, well, I wasn't part of this fight thing so I was just planning on leaving if that's alright with your sir." I state, trying to be polite. I was never very good at that either.
"Are you trying to tell me that you weren't fighting with these guys?" He questioned. He was giving me an interesting glare that I didn't appreciate.
"Actually, that's exactly what I'm trying to tell you. So, if you could be so kind as to just step aside I could leave and-" I was cut off as the guard restrained me and the other men around me.
"Your coming with us for trespassing on sacred grounds!"
