"Chanelle?"
She was, once again, staring into space, doing nothing.

"Chanelle..."
"CHANELLE." Her shout pierced throught her reverie, jolting her awake.
"You idiot, I was asking if you finished the assignment.", her roommate said, as she brushed her hair.
"..."
"Ugh, this is why I don't trust idiots like you." she said, obviously angry. "Whatever, weirdo."

She was blunt. Chanelle was sure about that. Of course, she wasn't dumb. In fact, she was much smarter than her, but she hadn't spoken a word about that matter since Via was the only one who would go with her. She may consider Via a friend, but sometimes, she thinks she's more of an enemy than a friend.

She didn't hate her, she just thought that maybe that was just part of her personality.

"Haha... I'm sorry, Via..." she mumbled.
"What?" Via replied, staring straight at her.
Chanelle started getting nervous. "Nothing..."
"Whatever."

As the day progressed, Chanelle started doing her homework, and chores.

"I'm gonna go out with some friends first. Don't call me." Via said that night, right before leaving.

Their room was cluttered with Via's makeup and junk. She decided not to touch any of it, since the last time she did, Via wouldn't talk to her for a whole week.

Of course, there were times she wanted to leave and move, but her family was financially troubled, and this was the only apartment they could rent for a cheap price near her school.

She sighed.

What is she going to do now? She was lonely, and anti-social. She thought she was the unluckiest person on the earth, but now, she thought she was the unluckiest person in the universe. Why? They were soon going bakrupt after a former family friend framed her father for corruption and the like, and took the company, after bribing plenty of lawyers. Plus, her brother was dying... and they didn't have enough money. Her mother also jumped from the tallest building they used to own, taking her life. She and her father were alone.

What was she going to do?
