«Chapter 3»

The undead troll howled a screeching war cry that tore through the glass. Glass splinters were flying across the battle dome where only one would survive, gladiator style.

Esovax had to strike first, he whipped his golden-chromoly wand and casted a series of searing fireballs aimed right at the troll.

The fiery balls of might barely missed the troll but burned his back while he tried to strafe to the right. The troll yelled in agony was his flesh burned in a flame fit for hell. The combustion spread across his back to his torso but the undead went into a state of frenzy as he charged towards Esovax with a half burnt body.

The creature gripped a pillar of granite and swung it.

Esovax ducked and rolled away from the projectile before it landed. He escaped the impact unscathed but the surrounding area had been grinded to bits by the pillar.

Esovax casted an earth binding spell that caused the troll to be rooted to the ground. The troll was in disbelief as he desperately tried to move his limbs but the roots and vines had him in place. As the undead abomination pivoted his ball heel to face the wizard, his face was blown into half as his body fluids and brains splattered across the bloodied floor. Chunks of flesh flew in the air as his torso exploded and his guts slithered out of his stomach like snakes let loose. His ribcage was destroyed and the creature had lost its bone structure.

The force spell had completely decimated and brought the monster to his knees but Esovax was totally drained from casting the cataclysmic spell. He fell on both knees and his chin gently hit the crimson floor. His vision blurred and his eyelids seem to close ever so quickly even though he willed against it.

A strong pulse jolted Esovax from his unconscious state, his sense blurred but active, heavy heartbeats as his withered heart faintly kept him alive. As he awoke from a seemingly eternal slumber, he was resting on a checked blanket with a lake-front view infront of him.

The sunrise was velvet orange and the sky was clear of clouds. Hawks flew above head and the inhabitants of nature were going about doing their daily G.R.I.N.D. (Asher Roth reference)

While he noticed all the splendors of nature, a heavy weight laid on his shoulder, a beauty words could not describe was gently resting on his well defined shoulders. Her long lashes, flawless skin and wavy hair, she appeared like a fairy from a tale that only one's imagination was the limit.

As he tried to rest her head on the thick blanket she awoke.

"Hello missus." Esovax timidly said.

"Oh my goodness! I didn't mean to sleep right next to you! I, I ,I was taking care of you but I, but I fell asleep on your comfortable shoulders! I'm terribly sorry!" the unknown beauty stuttered.

"It must have been a gory sight. I'm sorry I've let you seen such a horrid scene." Esovax whispered, ashamed of his acts.

"What happened? All I saw was blood stained marble and you on the floor outside the grave." the unknown girl asked.

"Nothing happened!" Esovax replied, not wanting to expose his identity.

"I'm so sorry I didn't introduce myself! I was too caught up! My name is Sonia." Sonia exclaimed with a hurried tone.

"And mine's Esovax, its a pleasure to meet you."

Looking at the sky Sonia realised she had to run errands, she pecked Esovax a flurry of kisses on his cheek before skipping away into the forest. She didn't even steal a glimpse of Esovax throughout her time with him.

Esovax realised that Sonia had left her belongings along the lake but she had been long gone. He brought himself onto his legs and started to exit the woods that brought his youthful testosterone levels to a climax, adrenaline still coursing down his veins.
