"Valeria Turnah and Patrick James."
"Reservation for two sir?"
"Yes."
The waiter led business suit clad man with slicked back hair and a woman in a sunny yellow dress with Dr Marten's boots to their seats.
Patrick reserved a pair of seats at the edge of the restaurant, it overlooked the bustling streets as workers were rushing back to their suburban estates and others entering the city to enjoy its night life.
He had blonde hair and deep blue eyes that looked it was never ending. His navy blue vest and white shirt underneath was simple and smart. He placed his blazer on his chair and proceeded to lift his date's.
Valeria had worn a dress that she specially bought for the occation, it complimented her boots well and she wore a carved myrtlewood bangle that was extremely eye-catching.
As she sat, she couldn't stop staring at the gentleman that was hers to keep for tonight and perhaps potentially, eternally.
He too didn't lose the intense eye contact each party had for one another. As they stared at each other's perfect complexions, the awkward silence was broken the zealous waiter who was tending to their table for the night.
She choose the lobster salad and a seafood zuppa while her beau had trouble deciding what to eat, he had his eyes on a steak and mini lamb sliders, he chose the latter.
"So what brought you to the suburbs? Isn't it lonely staying alone in such a huge house?" Asked Patrick.
"It was the family house, my dad and mum purchased it ages ago but as of late, my mother passed away." Valeria revealed.
Tears started to well up her brown eyes as she recollected the vivid moments etched in her memory.
The years of jumping on the trampoline and doing flips infront of her parents when she was 7.
The years of being a A-grader middle schooler and the braids that her mom would never fail to excecute perfectly.
She used her napkin to gently brush the teardrop of her cheekbone as Patrick listened attentively.
The food finally arrived with the appetizers.
Patrick was the owner of many shops at the golf resort in Sherborn woods. He too enjoyed the serene atmosphere that the grassy suburb had brought.
They talked about the plethora of weed addicted teenagers that had recently invaded their town.
The talk was so deep and engaging on both sides that it halted the waiter with entrees balancing carefully on his palms.
They put the waiter out of his misery.

8.30PM
Esovax laid on his declined car seat, listening to the radio. He was nonchalent about the whole Valeria and Patrick affair at first but an innate desire and a hunger to make Valeria his was getting a little too feisty. He tapped his fingers against the side window in a rhythmic fashion and wondered just how long would she take to come back. As he poked his temples out of habit, a blinding light lit the pitch dark suburb street. An Audi coupe was cursing along the terraced houses and it parked right outside of Valeria's house. Two figures rose from the sleek polished car however only the one who wore heels had entered the house. As the Audi reversed into the tar road, Esovax started his engine.
The Audi sped up through the interstate highway and was closing by on a derelict estate that was inhabitated a gang of foreign workers untill it was shutdown due to appalling, inhumane conditions. The buildings were sand blasted and even bits of concrete had been chipped off from the smallest of objects.
The abandonment of the area was the nail in the coffin and not even pests inhabited the area. Esovax couldn't figure out as to why "Patrick" as Valeria so affectionately calls him would want to visit such a redundant and desolate area.
Esovax slowed as to avoid being noticed but he lost sight of the Audi as it disappeared into a carpark in the middle of the eerie estate.
