Sages POV*

"That was pretty fucking weird." I scrunch my nose up looking down at my empty plate.

"Well you ate all of it so it couldn't be that bad." ashton smirks from beside me.

"Well I didn't say it was bad, but who the hell came up with putting hotdogs in eggs?" I question tilting my head in his direction.

He chuckles, "my theory is that some guy was making eggs, but he also wanted to eat a hotdog. So he cut up some hotdogs and put it in with the eggs. And then this was created." Pointing to his plate he grins widely.

"That's stupid." I shake my head trying not to smile or laugh.

"Well how was this discovered." he shoots back.

"I don't even know what it is! How am I supposed to tell you how it was discovered?" I say slightly frustrated.

"Fine, but that means that until you can figure it out I'm right." He smirks crossing his arms.

"Whatever." I give up standing from my stool. "What do I do with my plate?"

"Why so much attitude?" Ashton questions looking a bit amused.

"I'm not giving attitude." I roll my eyes and pick up my plate.

"Sorry." He laughs quietly. "Just put it in the sink. I'll clean it later." he motions his hand to the large stainless steal sink to my right. He puts his plate in before I do and walks out of the kitchen leaving me there by myself.

"What the hell?" I mutter looking around confused. "Ashton, I should be going soon." I shout looking at the clock on the grey kitchen wall. It's almost one and I just ate breakfast. Or I think that was breakfast. I'm not really sure.

"Sorry I'll be right down I'm just getting changed." I hear

Ashton shout from what I'm guessing is his room.

I take this as an opportunity to look around his house. Walking up his winding stairs made of a dark wood I hear some music playing from a room at the end of the hall.

It's kind of punk music, I thought I was the only rich kid who listened to that shit. As I get closer i notice the door is kind of open. Looking through the small opening I see Luke in the corner of the room sliding on a pair of black skinny jeans with rips in the knees. He reaches for a sleeveless shirt pulling it over his surprisingly toned torso. He silently sings to the song playing,I'm pretty sure it's fall out boy, and he isn't bad at all. He's actually pretty great.

"Looking for someone?" I hear a voice whisper from beside me.

"Holy shit!" I say jumping. Turning around I see ashton trying to contain his smile.

"Fuck you asshole." I breath hitting his chest.

"Sorry I had to." He smiles.

"No you didn't. You just wanted to." I correct him.

Luke pokes his head out of his door. "What are you guys doing?"

"I'm just leaving now." I say blushing when I see him. I just hope he didn't know I was watching him.

He gives me a confused smile, "ok, well bye." Luke closes the door leaving Ashton and I in an awkward silence.

"I'll walk you out." Ashton finally says.

"Yea, ok." I say. Following behind Ashton I hear Luke start to sing again. And smile.

...

"Ok well I have your number now so well keep in touch." I say through my car window.

"Yea I hope so." Ashton laughs.

I put my car keys into the ignition and turn them to the left. But instead of hearing the engine purr like usual, it stalls and makes a coughing sound.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me." I sigh resting my head on the steering wheel.

"I think something's wrong with your car." Ashton says jogging up to my window.

"Really? I didn't notice." I say sarcastically.

He sighs. "Get out I'll drive you home." Opening my door for me, I give him a death glare and slide out of the seat.

"What about my car?" I say less worried than you'd think id be.

"I'll ask my buddy to tow it to your house." He replies nonchalantly.

"Alright but if anything happens to it, I will kill you." I say too seriously.

"Just get in." He rolls his eyes.

Ashton's POV*

I start to pull out of my driveway when I notice that Sage doesn't have her seatbelt on so I stop.

"Don't tell me something's wrong with this car too." she frowns.

"No." I say waiting for her to catch on.

"Then why did you stop?" she sighs impatiently.

"Because you aren't wearing your seatbelt." I simply reply.

"Are you serious?" she raises an eyebrow.

"Yes." I say back.

"Well I'm not putting it on." She huffs turning to face the tinted window.

"Why not?" I laugh a little.

"Your going to think its retarded." She whispers biting her lip.

"I'm not really one to judge Sage." I whisper back.

She smiles,"ok well the reason I don't like to wear one is because I feel like it's holding me back. I just don't like it. I want to be free I guess." She blushes looking away again.

"Oh well If that's it then we can leave now. All you had to do was tell me." I smile over at her.

"Ok whatever let's just go now please." She rushes.

I chuckle and she tells me the directions to get to her house.

...

"We're like five minuets away now." Sage says looking at me funny.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I confront her.

"Because I've never seen any other rich kid dress like you." She plainly answers.

"What do you mean?" I laugh.

"Well to be honest most rich guys are pretty gay looking. I mean what's with those damn kakis and pullovers? And then there's you with skinny jeans and a ripped band tee. What the hell is going on here?" She laughs.

"I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not, but all I have to say is that I'm not like any other rich kid." I say mostly serious.

She looks over at me smiling.

"What?" I say smiling back.

"Nothing. Um, turn here." Her cheeks turn bright red for the thousandth time today.

Pulling up into her driveway she thanks me. And heads to her door.

"Just call me or something when he's bringing me car." She says.

"Sure, see you later." I grin.

There's something about this girl. I'm not sure what it is but I know it's something. I need to talk to my dad, now.
