I woke up on the Monday morning to my alarm clock ringing in my ear obviously not ready for another day inside that hell hole. I placed my feet into my fluffy slides and made my way to my new fully improved closet. 

I sadly was planning on wearing sweats today out of laziness but that was impossible now considering the girls changed my old clothes in for brand new expensive ones. It isn't as if I can't afford it, it's more of the fact that I don't take much pride in my appearance or care very much about what people think. 

I picked out a nice red bandana styled tube top with some light grey joggers and my black vans (image above). Once I was dressed I made my way into my personal bathroom and put some light makeup on while tying my hair up into a high ponytail with some baby hairs strayed at the front. Once I was ready I made my way down the stairs to see my sister maddie sitting down eating some breakfast. When she laid eyes on me her eyes widened.

Maddie: 'Well someone's had a change in character.'

Kenzie: 'Lauren, Annie, Jayden and Brynn replaced all my sweats with new clothes so this is what I'm left with!'

Maddie: 'Well you look good Kenz.'

Kenzie: 'Thanks Mads.'

Maddie: 'Hungry? I can make you an acai bowl?'

Kenzie: 'It's fine I'm not hungry but where's mum?'

Maddie: 'Business trip...'

Kenzie: 'But she just got back a couple days ago!'

Maddie: 'She got called in again late last night, she had to leave immediently, so she left a note.'

She directed my to a note sitting on the kitchen island a couple feet away from where she was sitting. I walked over and opened it to read,

Dear Madison and Mackenzie,

Sorry girls I had to leave urgently last night for another work business trip. I don't know when I'll be back but I've added $3000 onto both your cards each which should be enough, If you need more just message me and I'll add more on. Sorry my beautiful girls, I'll see you when I get back.

I frowned after reading the note, She didn't know when she was coming home so it could be months till we see her again and I didn't even get to say goodbye.

Maddie: 'Hey don't frown! Come on lets get to school, you can play the music if you want.'

My face immediently turned into a smile as I raced to grab my bag, Maddie's boyfriend Jack was picking us up this morning and if it were up to me I'd drive myself but its illegal since I'm not 16 yet. So I'm stuck 3rd wheeling every morning with my sister and her boyfriend who were both seniors, if she found out I had a thing for one of Jacks best friends she would probably flip out and lecture me about how he's too old for me, he's a playboy and how he is no stranger to seduction and thats a conversation I would love to avoid. She would NEVER let me date Johnny anyway considering the 3 year age gap so theres no point in telling her anyway.
