Czarina, where have you been? I was worried sick. You look tired. Come here take a sip.

Czarina sat in his arms as he slipped off her clothes and shoes. She drank from a glass that another young girl was holding. The girl picked up the clothes and shoes and left the room.

The room was huge had a large bed and a breathtaking view of the Alps from the window.

Czarina rang a bell and when a young boy came, "It's time for celebrations. Tonight we rejoice. Invite everyone."

Czarina, you did it?

Yes Karl. I did. You were right about everything.

Well, if I'm right, we should have a call for truce very soon. You need to draw up your conditions for the truce.

Hmm. We'll come to it later. I think the vodka I had is acting up. I'll talk later.

With this she fell into the bed. Karl kissed her forehead and covered her in a blanket. He gave the attendants orders not to disturb her. The festivities could begin though.

Karl was another Queen's son. They met each other while fleeing from Dormien Jr. He had blue eyes, blonde hair, and a slightly sun tanned body which did a good job of keeping his age a secret.

He loved Czarina and had always taken care of all her whims and fancies. He had a peculiar advantage of being able to read. He could read an entire book in a glance, read people's thoughts as they formed and was always well informed. He didn't have the speed Czarina had but could always predict her next move with precision. He had found about freezing a newly bitten human and stopping the mutation by transfusion with a Queen's blood. He wanted to experiment before they went after Troy but had to give in to Czarina's haste.

At the feast, there was food from every cuisine. A lot of vampires had been invited. Another older queen had also come. She was pleased with Czarina because she too had not been able to create a new queen and her time was nearly over. As the festivities were in full swing, no one noticed a young boy crawling from under a table.
A young maid was taking away empty dishes while a few more were being filled. The boy suddenly launched himself on to her. He was in such a fit that he drained all her blood away in one breath.

The entire household was standstill. Nobody moved. Karl was the first to come to his senses.

What have you done, Czarina?

Troy.
Screamed Czarina. But it was too late. Troy was now unstoppable. He had become a vampire and was already quite grown up.

Czarina looked at Karl.
What? It's the boy alright. And he's a vampire.

But didn't you freeze him and tell them they need a queen in the future?

Yeah, I did. But I changed my mind. I kind of like the boy so I brought him.

You have just lost us our bargaining chip.

"You have brought our doom, that's what you brought along."
Thus saying, the other queen ordered her clan to leave.

All the humans now realized that they were amidst vampires and were leaving in a hurry. Their secret was out. Troy was insatiable. He lunged at anybody he could reach. He was growing taller and stronger with each feed. Czarina looked at him fondly. Karl was angry and ordered everyone out.

He asked her, if Troy is here, what's in the freezer. Once they find the freezer empty, the truce will be called off and ...

The freezer has our eggs. They will hatch in a few weeks and I have already placed in a lot of blood bags, which will last them an entire year. Our babies are being well taken care of by Grace and Gregggg.
She giggled at the thought.

But when they open...

Our babies will feed on anyone who opens it. Don't worry. It's all been taken care of.

That's the problem with you. You never listen.

Come on trust me. It's the sweetest revenge ever. By the time they open the freezer, our babies would have grown and then, we'll all be free. Free to live and do what we wished to.

What if they open and find out that...

Shush Karl. You are such a wuss. Stop worrying so much. The fear of losing her son is so strong and gripping that Grace won't even think about opening it. It's her little Pandora's box.

Fine then. Greg has called for a meeting at his father's grave and called off the hunt. So I guess we can rejoice until then. But please first take the boy away. He's making everyone lose their appetite.
