#6: Telling family

Michael:

"This is lovely darling, thank you for inviting us." Your mum smiles tucking into her dinner. You'd organised a family dinner, so that you and Michael could tell your parents about the baby, and it was your parents anniversary.

"No problem mum." You smile.

Once dinner was over you were all sat in the living room.

"Here's your card from us." You smile handing them an envelope.

"Thank you sweetie." Your mum smiles.

They open the card and smile.

"There's a message from each of us." You say.

"Read it out loud." Michael smiles.

"Okay, (y/n)'s message. Happy Anniversary you two, you're the best parents I could ask for and I hope you like your surprise. Love (y/n)." Your mum reads. "What surprise love?"

"If I told you it wouldn't be a surprise! Let dad read Michael's." You laugh.

"Okay. Michael's message. Happy Anniversary, to two amazing in laws. You have both been so amazing for the past few years I've been with (y/n) and that means a lot. I hope you like your surprise. Love Mikey." Your dad read. "Seriously darling what surprise?"

"Read the bottom." You and Michael say together.

"To granny and grampy, I'm your surprise. Can't wait to meet you in 9 months time. I already love you. Love baby Clifford." Your mum reads teary eyes.

"Baby you're.." she says quietly.

"I am." You grin.

Luke:

"Yes mum, we're good." You laugh. You were cutting up vegetables for dinner, you were having all the boys round. You had your phone on loud speaker, talking to your mum.

"Hey baby girl." Luke says walking in the kitchen.

"Hey Luke." You say, as his kisses you.

"How are the hemmo babies?" He asks grabbing a glass.

You hear a slight squeal from your phone.

"Is that what I thought I heard?" Your mum says.

Luke's eyes go wide, he turns to you and mouths sorry.

"Yes mum." You sigh.

"Oh my, I'm going to be a grandmother." She says. "I have to tell your father."

She ends the call.

"Shit I'm sorry babe." Luke says wrapping his arms around your waist.

"Its okay. I didn't know how to tell them anyway." You laugh.

Ashton:

"I'm sorry." You say, excusing yourself from the table. You go into the bathroom, and sigh heavily looking into the mirror. You see your sister in the mirror. She sees you looking at your stomach.

"Oh my god." She whispers.

You turn to her with a smile on your face. She throws her arms round you, and takes you back out to the dining room.

"Mum, I'm going to be an auntie!" (y/s/n) cries.

"What? Seriously?!" Your mum says.

"Yes." You nod.

"Congratulations baby." She smiles. "And you too Ash."

Calum:

You had the whole family over for dinner, as you and Calum had to tell them about the baby.

"Okay guys me and (y/n) have something important to say." Calum says standing up. He takes your hand and helps you up, he wraps one arm around your waist and pulls you close.

"So for the past month or so me and (y/n) have actually been talking about a family of our own, and about bringing a child into this world. A few days ago I took (y/n) into hospital after fainting on me and the doctor told us that (y/n) is pregnant. There will be a new edition to the Hood family." Calum smiles, before kissing your cheek.

They all cheer and hug you with congratulations.
