I woke up the next day due to the bright sunlight hitting my tired face. I turned over onto my stomach and smiled into my pillow as soon as I remembered what happened yesterday.
After the whole "why don't we get to know each other" situation, nothing really happened, we just ended up telling each other about our lives and he took some more pictures when we went outside to go home. But, the fact that I was just.. with him... It made me feel warm inside.

vantetae: Hey, btw thanks for coming yesterday!! I got some really good pictures.

Ooh send some to me..please? :))

vantetae: Sure .. only a few though.. ;) Wanna keep some for my next project.

The comment made me squeal and I rolled over in my bed again, clutching my phone in my hands as the sun washed over me.

vantetae: Oh, and we should hang out again soon.

How did you read my mind

vantetae: when are you free?

I told you literally every minute
of every day.

vantetae: can we get lunch today? at the cafe? 1pm?

yes please.

see you, bunny

So for about two hours we sat at the cafe, chatting and laughing while he drank coffee and I ate something light. In those two hours, we became more comfortable with each other, joking around, playfully insulting each other and all around becoming closer. And I also realized that he was an absolute sweetheart with messy hair, instead of the sophisticated brat with messy hair that I imagined him to be.

"So how are you planning to spend your gap year?" He hummed while slowly stirring the remaining coffee in his mug.
"Hopefully I can figure myself out.. Maybe take up a few hobbies or something. I hope it's not in vain."
"Well I hope I can help. I'll try entertain you as much as I can." There was something behind his smile just then.
"In what way?" I say, raising my eyebrow.
"Hmm... in a couple ways." He smirked, looking down at his hands.
Suddenly he looked up and his eyes lit up as he saw someone walk through the door.
"Hey! Jimin-hyung!" He shouted at the brunette. I was guessing he was older than both of us then.
"Taehyungie?? Wow! Good to see you!" He laughed, approaching our table.
"Jungkook this is Jimin, Jimin this is Jungkook." He eagerly pulled up a chair for Jimin to sit then turned to me. "I've known him for basically my whole life! He's like a big brother to me." He said, smiling so brightly that his mouth almost formed a box. Cute.

For the next fifteen minutes, Jimin ordered a coffee too, and they chatted about old school life and jokes that I didn't get. I complied, occasionally trying to add in a little laugh or joke here and there but in all actuality, I felt like the odd one out. My heart dropped at how brightly Taehyung was smiling with Jimin. Why couldn't I make him do that?

"Well sorry guys but I promised I'd meet a friend in a bit. I'll see you soon Tae! Nice meeting you, Jungkook!" He waved before exiting.
"Heh... sorry about that. You probably didn't understand half of our conversation." He said, rubbing his neck gently.
"No... it's okay I promise." I said, smiling softly.
"You seem quiet... are you sure it's okay bunny?"
"Yes! Don't worry about me Tae. Jimin seems super nice." I chuckled.
"But I like worrying about you. You're cute." He smiled sweetly. Then he took my hand slowly, tracing his thumb over the back of my hand. Slowly, I enveloped his hand in my two hands, fidgeting with his long fingers and smiling to myself.

"Smile more."
"Okay."
