"So, what I do is draw two lines like... there and.. there, you know?" He smiled while I hesitantly tried to copy his instructions .
"Jungkook it's only two lines and a circle.. why do you look like you're about to die?"
"It's new for me, okay?" I whispered.
"You really have never ever drawn????"
"Well.. like maybe when I was two or something.."
"What the fuck." He laughed. "What do you even do in your spare time???"
"Things."
"Like..?"
"I don't know.. I like to produce music sometimes?"
"Woah! Hey can I listen?"
"No." I turned away, scrunching my face up and silently cringing.
"Why??"
"I mean, would you show me your personal sketchbook? You know with all your failed doodles or what-not."
"No obviously not. But you must have at least one song that hasn't 'failed'."
"I mean.. It's kind of personal."
"Oh.. okay I mean that's fine you don't have to show me."
"Thanks.."
"But.. you also promised me you'd sing for me."
"That is the FATTEST lie I've ever heard Taehyung."
"No it ain't."
"It is and you know it is."
"Please?" Okay, I know!" He jumped up from his seat and turned what looked like a speaker on.
Next thing I knew, Taehyung was standing in the middle of his living space, using rolled up newspaper as a makeshift microphone, and was screaming along to random Kpop songs.
"Join me, Kook." He said, breathless.
Finally I stood up, grabbing my own wad of rolled up newspaper, screaming my heart out to Taehyung's playlist. What we didn't realise was that someone was at Taehyung's doorway, their eyes wide with amusement.
Jungkook, noticing, let his smile completely melt off his face before tapping Taehyung's shoulder.
He turned around and didn't even budge.
"Jin! Bro! Why don't you join the party?"
Suddenly the boy at the door burst out laughing.
"You think this is funny, huh? Jin this is world class karaoke, something only normies like you could dream of."
"Shut up Taehyung I already basically own a fucking company." He was nearly crying from laughter.
"Yeah, right.." Taehying snorted, "Wait are you filming?"
Oh yeah, he was holding his phone up too, not very discreetly.
"Yeah, what you gonna do about it?"
I was watching the whole ordeal from behind Taehyung, stifling my laugh.
Jin looked at me finally.
"Taehyung why haven't you introduced me yet, god." He said, turning off his phone.
"Oh shit, yeah. Jungkook this is Jin, he lives in the flat underneath. Jin, this is Jungkook, my friend and muse."
"Oh, that's where I recognise you from. You know Taehyung always forces me to look at his photography and judge it when I don't know shit about anything he does."
"That's not true." He pouted.
"I mean, I can see it." I added quietly.
"Jungkook, you brat."
"Hey, I like this guy." Jin said, giving me a nod of approval. "Anyway, got to go do some shit, but for the love of god stop jumping around it literally makes my eardrums AND my whole appartment shake like a bitch."
"Oh yeah, sorry not sorry."
"You'll regret that, Kim. Adios lads."

When Jin shut Taehyung's door I turned to him.
"How did he even .. get in."
"We have spare keys for each other.. just in case."
"Aha..." I chuckled. "Well that was interesting."
"Yeah." He said, before turning off his speakers.
