*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
Are you.. kidding me?
"11:45 a.m."
I sat up and touched my lips.
My smile disappeared.
"It was just a dream." I fell back down onto my pillow. Lucid dreams made me hate real life. Everything was perfect in them and made everything in reality look black and white.
"For fucks sake."

A light breeze coming from my window hit my bare chest making me shiver slightly. I put on a random shirt and entered the kitchen. Since it was still technically summer holiday and we were both on a gap year anyway, my roommate (Jung Hoseok) was away, leaving me alone in our apartment. I looked out the window while I ate breakfast. There was some greenspace outside out block of flats which brought me back to my dream. All my mind seemed to go to these days was him. I hated it. I wanted him all to myself just so I could stop thinking about it.

I spent my day similar to my dream, almost trying my hardest to replicate my feelings, but somehow the fact that I knew I was awake made me worry more about what could happen. I knew it wasn't going to go too bad, I mean he complimented me a lot at the gallery. I just knew that it would go worse than I wanted. There'd be no kiss, no hug.

"17:00"
I grunted as I got up from my chair and switched off the gaming console. I subconsciously ended up taking exactly the same outfit from my dream. After I quickly showered, I dressed and looked in the mirror. I mean, not too bad? I fixed my hair and quickly put on a black face mask before going outside.

It wasn't too bad, but it wasn't sunny either. My hands went straight to my pockets as I started walking. After about half an hour of following google maps, I found the university.
"5:57"
Okay, pretty much perfectly on time. Before I could message him on instagram-
"Hey."
My heartbeat immediately went crazy as I turned around and saw him standing there, looking at me with a gaze probably intense enough to make me go dizzy. I lowered my face mask.
"Hi..."
"You seem nervous. Why?"
"I'm not." I was. He was handsome. Really handsome.
"Whatever you say, Jungkookie."
I let out a stupid nervous laugh at the nickname and looked at my feet.
"Uh.. is it fine if we just go to my studio for a second, I need to finish off something."
"Yeah, sure! I don't mind. It's fine. It's cool."

I followed him into a room with dim lighting. There were plants scattered around the room and a tall window opposite the door. There was a table in the middle with about four different houseplants and a couple of chairs beside. Around the walls, there were either neat rows of photography hung up on string, or clusters of photos probably attatched with some sort of tape on the back. The room was a decent size, enough for four students to have a nice amout of work space. It was too welcoming. It made me want to take up art and apply for the university. But I hate art. He led me to what I assume was his desk.

"I promise this will only take maybe 10 minutes. Make yourself at home." He smiled warmly before turning to edit one of his recent pictures. I took a chair and sat beside him. By habit, I crossed my legs on the chair and placed my hands in my lap. My eyes were fixed on his computer screen for a while, observing his work while he hummed quietly. I recognized the tune he was humming and my eyes were soon enough, fixed on his face. He looked calm when he concentrated. I didn't realize I was staring.
"Am I that interesting look at?" A smirk tugged at his lips.
"What? No... I just recognized what you were humming." I pretended to look somewhere else.
He turned to look at me.
"You're blushing."
"Don't point it out." I murmured, looking to the side in hopes of hiding my face a bit.
He chuckled before turning my head gently with his hand.
"You have a nice face. Why do you wear face masks?"
"I don't know. It makes me more confortable."
"But I've never fully seen your face without it."
I took it off and put it in my pocket.
"Oh wow. You have a strong jaw."
"Is that good?"
"Yeah."
"Thank you, hyung."

He finished off his work and turned off his computer. By now, I had moved my chair by the window so I could watch the rain start.
*Click*
I turned around and saw him holding his camera.
"Hyung.." I whined. "I probably look ugly."
"You never look ugly."
"But-"
"You agreed to this." He smiled playfully.
"Oh yeah."
"Just go back to not doing anything I want to take a few more."
"But.. Oh that's so weird for me."
"Please?"

After he had taken a few, he stopped and looked through them. I could see him smiling at them, like the dream. I realised how good he looked in the dim, warm yellow lighting coming from line of fairylights on the wall. I wanted to see how he would actually react...
"Why are you smiling."
"I just remembered something funny."
"Oh." I could feel my eyebrows furrowing already.
He looked up.
"Hm? You look down.. What's wrong." He put his camera on the window sill and turned his chair to face me.
"Nothing. Just thinking about I had a weird dream last night."
"Oh really? About what?"
"Today."
"Wait... same."
"Really? What happened in yours."
"No you tell me first, I want to know why it was weird."
I sighed and hesitated before settling on an answer that wouldn't reveal too much about my dream.
"It just seemed like we got along well. Too well for someone I'd barely met. It felt like we'd known eachother for years. I don't know, hyung." I mumbled.
"Hmm. I can't remember much from mine but I do remember that we were close... touchy, almost."
"Yeah.."
Silence overcame the room as we looked at each other awkwardly.
"It was nice." I regretted saying that immediately. "Wait! I mean I'm just a touchy person."
Taehyung chuckled and looked out the window.
"It was nice. Anyway, I was thinking of going outside to take some pictures when the lighting was good but... Doesn't look like that's gonna happen."
"Yeah." I rested my head in my hands as we both looked out the window.
"I keep forgetting to say this but, I think you look really nice today." He said, looking at me kindly.
I buried my face in my hands.
"Wanna sit on the sofa? These chairs are annoying."

So we spent around half an hour looking through photos and talking about random childhood stories on the sofa. It probably felt like a normal conversation to him but the butterflies in my stomach were going absolutely crazy. I probably had sweat patches everywhere.

He looked through the pictures he took again.
"This one's my favourite."

(a/n yes i know the clothes are different and lighting is no where near dim but just bare with me)

"Why? I don't look that special here."
"Are you actually kidding me? You look like a legit model here. Are you a model?"
"I wish."
"We could find you an agent."
"Not right now Tae." I playfully slapped his leg. While he was looking through some others I took my chance. Without thinking, I rested my head on his shoulder. I could feel how quickly he was breathing

"You're just as nervous as I am.. Aren't you?" I looked up.
"Yeah, well...I was just thinking about how in the dream...In the dream we..."
"We what, Hyung?" I was trying to hold back a smirk.
"Mhh..never mind" He turned to look at me, our faces only centimetres apart. His voice lowered. "Aren't you nervous?"
"I mean yeah, we don't know each other at all..." I finally sat up, faced him, cross legged, and played with the button on my sleeve. Suddenly, he turned to face me as well, lowering himself so that his forehead was softly resting on mine.
"But that doesn't mean we can't get to know eachother." He whispered.
I glanced at his lips.
"What do you say to that, bunny?"
I internally cooed at the nickname and a smile finally plastered on my face. He smiled back, his soft eyes looking down, exaggerating his long eyelashes.
"That'd be nice."
