CHAPTER 1

"Let's say grace," Dom said as everyone joined hands.

After grace was said everyone dug in. Dom looked around the table for a moment. A lot of faces were gone and new faces had come. Almost everyone was gone now except for Letty, Mia, Roman, Brian, Dakota, and their children, Katie and Matt. Tej had joined their team, as had Luke Hobbs, and Ramsey.

It was sad to Dom that he had lost may of his family in this life, but for some reason even if they weren't looking for trouble, trouble found them. Dom had wanted for the last two years to finally settle down and start a family with Letty as Brian and Dakota now did, but instead found himself worried that something would happen if he decided to.

"Dakota and I have an announcement." Brian said.

All eyes turned to him.

Dakota smiled. "Brian and I have decided to get married. The wedding will be next month."

"That soon?" Mia asked.

Brian and Dakota nodded.

"I've been planning for the past year without Brian knowing until one day he asked me to marry him and we decided to take the next step."

"Why didn't you just wait?" Letty asked.

"I had a lot of spare time. Katie's 22 now and about to be going into her last year of collage. Matt's in middle school now so I had the time. It actually just started as an idea and it turned out to become real."

"Congratulations," Mia said, she stood and hugged Brian and Dakota.

"I call maid of honor," Mia whispered in Dakota's ear.

Dakota laughed lightly and agreed.

Katie looked down at her plate, gnawing at her bottom lip.

"What's wrong?" Brian asked.

Katie gulped, causing Dakota to look at her too.

"Something on your mind?" Dakota said in a serious tone as she stood up and put her hands on her hips.

"Well..." Katie started.

"Well, what?" Dakota demanded, looking at her 22 year old daughter with suspicion.

"I'm pregnant."

Dead silence surrounded the table until a thud broke it.

Brian looked away from his daughter to see that Dakota had passed out.
