The whole room went silent. No one knew what to say or do. The man Regan spoke of was named Mason. He was pure evil in a human form. Regan feared him so much that she had probably came back to ask for protection and help to stop Mason once again.

"When did you find out he was back around?" Hobbs asked.

"Last month, he showed up at my work and caused a shot out to occur while I was there. I ran and hid in my apartment for a week. He found me there, and when that happened, I packed only what I needed and hit the road."

Dom crossed his arms. "So, are you going to stay this time?"

Regan nodded, looking down as tears filled her eyes. "I'm so sorry. I wish I never left."

Dom hugged her tightly. "It's ok, you were young and needed to find out where you belonged."

"I had left too," Dakota said.

Regan looked at her. "What?"

"We never met because I left when I was 16. I came back ten years later with a ten year old daughter."

Regan looked at her confused.

"Brian has two kids now. He has a 22 year old daughter and a 16 year old son." Letty said.

Regan looked at Brian in shock. "Really?"

Brian nodded.

"I guess a lot really has changed."

Brian and Dakota laughed and Regan joined them. She stopped for a minute and smiled. When was the last time she laughed like this? When was the last time she felt like nothing was wrong and everything would be ok? For some reason, every time she was with Dom and his family, she felt carefree and as if nothing could harm her.

"I really missed you guys. I wish I never left." Regan said.

Letty and Mia hugged her. "We're glad you're back too," Mia said.

Letty nodded.

"I'll show you to a room, and we'll start looking at making a plan about what to do tomorrow." Dom said.

Regan nodded and followed Dom to a guest room.

Once Regan was in her own room, she laid down on the queen size bed and stared at the ceiling. It had almost seven years since she left. She wasn't sure how she felt about being back, but she knew that Dom and his family would never turn her away. They had took her in so willingly when she first met them. They had fought with her to stay when she left. She wished she never had left now.

She could only imagine what her life would have been like had she not left...but she had and nothing could change that. No matter how badly she wanted to.

There was a knock at the door.

"Come in," Regan said.

Dakota came in. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm ok, just a little shaken up." Regan answered.

Dakota sat at the edge of her bed. "It'll get better. You made the right choice coming back though. Dom is really relieved that you're back, too. I hope you know that."

Regan looked down. "I'm glad to be back, but I'm scared to be back at the same time."

Dakota placed a hand over Regan's. "No matter what happens, we're a family and we will stick together-always."

Regan looked up and smiled at Dakota. "Thank you."

Dakota smiled back. "You're welcome, I'm going to head to bed. I just wanted to come and make sure you were ok."

"Thank you."

Dakota nodded. "Good night, and if you ever need someone to talk to, feel free to pull me aside and we can go talk."

Regan nodded. "That would be great. Good night."

Dakota smiled and nodded. She walked out of the room and shut the door to Regan's room. She walked past Katie's room and looked inside the 22 year old was fast asleep curled up in a ball under her blanket. Matt was sprawled out across his bed with the blanket over him. Dakota smiled at both of her children and went to her own room.

Brian sat waiting on her. Dakota smiled at him and laid down. Brian kissed her deeply and wrapped his arms around her before they both fell into a deep sleep.
