Troy's POV:

Today Boss is coming to my house.

I'm gonna have to introduce him as my best friend. But we kinda are, since pre-school.

Phoenix doesn't know that he's coming because it had just came up. Although he had a massive crush on her when we were literally three years old. But I didn't tell her the whole story at the hospital that day.

So in a couple of hours he's going to come, I just hope I'm ready to face him.

-Time Skip 3 hours-

Ring Ring

There's the door bell.

I go get it and see Ryder a.k.a. Boss.

A/N:

Ryder:

"Thassss Muh Boiiiii!" I scream and pat him on the back.

"Ayeeeee!" He says and brings me in for a hug.

I thought he was acting, but the way his eyes lit up, I knew he meant it.

"So where's my queen?" He asks playfully.

"I'm right here my prince!" Phoenix says and gives him a big hug.

"I've missed you so much!" She says.

"Yeah me too!" He says, but dangggg his eyes are lit up.

"I haven't seen you in years!" She says.

Then Marcus comes into the room and stands next to Leah, great timing, yikes.

"Oh and Ryder, this is Marcus, my boyfriend!" She says.

I look at Ryder and his eyes have turned to his usual hurt self after hearing her call Marcus her boyfriend.

Phoenix's POV:

I can't believe Ryder is here. I haven't seen him since I was four years old. I didn't recognize him at first, but then I heard Troy and him exchange their hellos.

But as soon as he saw Marcus, he turned grumpy.

I'm not gonna pretend to be clueless about someone liking me, but I can't even think of leaving Marcus.

Oh well...
