Phoenix's POV:

But today Marcus told me that he had to confess something. I'm really confused considering we were hanging out every day.

I'm now driving to Marcus' house because he was staying with his parents.

...

I got there and knocked on the door.

I heard yelling and screaming.

I knocked even harder now and the yelling stopped.

Marcus came and opened the door and then I saw Meredith, Marcus' mom, and some girl on the couch in her underwear, covered up with a blanket.

Then I looked back at Marcus and saw him staring at me with guilt in his eyes. But when I looked at his clothing he was shirtless and his belt was off and his jeans were hanging.

I put the pieces together then...

"Wow Marcus.." I say on the verge of crying.

"Phoenix it's not what it looks like." He says, like he's about to break down.

"oh really. It's not what it looks like? So you both just happen to be half naked?!" I ask calmly, but angry.

"I don't even have feelings for her." He whispers, then ushering me to go outside.

I totally ignore him and...

"Meredith, is it what it looks like." I ask looking at her.

"I wanted Marcus to tell you this, but yes... it is." She says, sympathetically.

I look at the girl on the couch in disgust, then she speaks up.

"Look loser, he wants me, not you, so just leave!" She states viciously.

"Okay girl, you have fun with my sloppy seconds." I spat. She looks taken aback.

"And you, Marcus, we're done." I say and rip of the promise ring he gave to me.

"Wait baby, pl-" He says, but I cut him off.

"Go ahead, cry to me all you want. Because obviously you would rather cheat on me then be with me!" I say, once again.

"I'm blocking you, and your moving out of MY house." I spit. I manage to take on glance at that girl, Meredith, and Marcus and his guilty face. Then I turn on my heels and walk to my car.

I get in my car and start to drive away. I'm not gonna cry because he's not worth it. I'm not gonna waste my time a a cheating scumbag.

Marcus's POV:

I broke down.

I just lost her. All because of my mistake.

I turn around and look at the girl.

"YOU NEED TO LEAVE NOW!" I yell, demandingly.

"What? No!" She says.

I grab her by the wrist and push her out the door, then I throw her clothes out her and slam the door.

"Honey." My mom says.

"Why did you say anything mom?" I ask, anger building up in me.

"WHY?" I basically scream, then run upstairs and lock my door.

~That Night~

Everyone found out about this breakup and they're all calling and texting me about it.

I also found out that Desn and Ellie are done, they broke up, but are still as close.

I was up in my room listening to music, on my balcony, when there was a knock on the door.

It was Damon.

"Hey Phoenix." He says, sympathetically.

"Hey." I say, getting up from my beanbag and walking to him.

"I found out about, you know what." He says.

"Yeah. I was- I am heartbroken, but he's not worth it." I say sitting down and my bed and him following.

"Yeah he's not worth it." He says, then looked me in the eye.

"Phoenix, I know you just broke up, but I have to tell you that I still have feelings for you." He says, still looking me in the eye.

I don't why I did it, but I leaned forward and pressed my lips against his. He kissed back and we started to make-out.

What am I doing?

I haven't uploaded in forever bc I've been working on my other book, but this chapter was... no words.

Sorry about my lack of writing, I will update more often now.

So are you team Damon or team Marcus?

Should Phoenix forgive Marcus, but be with Damon?

Should Phoenix forgive Marcus and be with him?

Should Phoenix cut Marcus out of her life and be with Damon?

Should Phoenix cut her trip back home short and go home to hang out with Ellie?
