" It's not fair mum!" I shouted grumpily folding my arms and whining like a kid

" Hunny it's fine... You've been to plenty of school why make a big deal now?" She ask annoyed rolling her eyes

Life isn't fair sometimes but we just have to live to accept it. I moved from my home about a week ago(a/n: YAAAAS VINE) without choice.

I mean I wasn't forced but my mum made me feel bad. She said all her plans would destroy and go down the drain. Now if your mums surprisingly planned a future for you in America for 2 years saying no at the last minute is pretty harsh.

"Mum... I've seen these kind of high school's in the movies!! They call me Newbiesssss!!!!" I shouted making a puppy face

"Don't be ridiculous!" She replies fumingly. "Indie you can't believe everything that comes on tv!!" She fumingly shouted back

"Your the one who moved me away from my friends and family into this stupid... Country" I say with a straight face.

My mums face automatically drops and I start to feel bad...

"I thought you wanted this?" She asked looking disappointed

"Mum I never wanted this and I never said I did... But I guess I'll check it out first" I mumbled rolling my eyes

She smiles quickly and before you know it I'm upstairs glaring at my self in the mirror.

I look simple and cute. I don't usually care about how I look and never look twice in a mirror; today's different I went to double check my self in the mirror twice.

My hair was in a messy high ponytail and how can I forget to mention the crazy blonde dip dye. It was curly. Usually Africans tend to have nappy hair but thank god for that I haven't. It's just annoyingly curly.

The blonde hair complimented my honey bronze shade of skin tone. I had a pair of big brown eyes and of course my hair was dark... Not exactly what I wished for(not that I cared).

I wore a pair of faded blue fitting jeans and a simple v neck tank top with a tiger in the middle of it. I wore a black pair of Nike trainers my outfit was all a perfect match. My nails was painted in a bright shade of red.

I don't wear that much makeup. I just apply some mascara and some lipgloss and I'm all done. I scoop my backpack off the ground and head for downstairs.

"Excited I'm guessing?" She smiles at me with a wink. She opens her arms wide for a hug.

"Not really" I mumble before jumping into my mums arms.

"Have fun sweetie" she drags smiling

"Will do mum" I say with a giggle.

Mum said I was to take the bus but no way was I taking the bus. Of course mum wanted me so prepared we walked to school twice before school even started; for emergencies so I knew where I was going at the back of my head.

I was here.

I mean literally I was standing in front of a massive building probably the size of Birmingham(where I'm from in England)!

It was massive and I could slightly see more than 2 buildings if I tiptoed a little higher. There was a big border titled 'Broomfield high school'.

The students scattered across the parking lots like ants and weird enough I wasn't even that nervous. No one noticed me thank god. Like in movies I expected people to stop and shit but no one did. No one seemed like they even cared.
