A Yorkist Queen

Ginny Part 1

It was never their intention to go back in time. Especially not to a time where a 30 year civil war was happening.  But here they were. Ginny, Hermione, and Harry are called 'Lady and Lord Potter.'  They went back in time for who knows what.  

Ginny is a beauty, a true beauty, whose look has captured the new kings eye. It was a lovely spring day, Ginny was still a girl of twenty one when Ginny appeared in court. She wear a deep burgundy dress with a head dress. She smiled a seductive smile but a smile reserved for court.  Her long dress flowing out from behind her. She spare no mind to looks of awe of most of the men who are surrounding her. She has gotten used to the world around her in the months she has been her.

Hermione was an English Rose. She wore a yellow dress with a long streams coming from her hat. Hermione bowed a serene smiled for she had yet to learn how to shoot an seductive smile. She blushed when she caught the lustful look the king bestowed upon Ginevra. It wasn't even directed at her but she still blushed.

Harry were a dark outfit with a dark hat. He was the exact opposite of the seductive Ginny or the Serene Hermione. He was visibly nervous but kept a poker face. He stood beside Ginny and had yet to see the look in Edward's eyes. He felt the king looking but knew intently why. 

They all bowed at the new king. 

"Your Majesty." they said in unison. 

"You may raise."

They looked at the kings feet still. All except one, the king approached Ginny and made her look at him. He was attractive, the powerful aura surrounding him, and  she knew he wanted him. But, Ginny must make a decision. Court was a treacherous place and Edward's would not be any different.  She did not move. It would be improper and inappropriate if she did something. But, Ginny's eyes was all the confirmation the king needed for her.

They both wanted each other. This was the moment that Ginny would be considered an enemy of the kingmaker. The tender moment watched by all in court, was direct disobedience on the part of the king. Richard Neville was trying to obtain a marriage between the new king and Bona of Savoy.  But the king with his lustful look and the lady Ginny with the return were ruining his plan. 

The king dropped his hand from under her face. He then proceeded to dismiss the three. He sat in his throne watching the crowd settle into their seats. He planned the seating around the fact he wanted to be able to watch Lady Ginny. It sounds uncouth for him to be watching this girl but that was the plan.

The dinner went off without a hitch. The dance was lovely. Ginny was asked only by Edward, everyone knew that Ginny would end up being the kings, he displayed that long  before that singular day. When the three mysterious orphans appeared on the side of the road asking for a home, she had mud on the face. But all saw the king glue his eye to her.  Up until this point, the king or at that point, Edward, Earl of March was a player. That all changed the moment that Lady Ginny appeared. The women of court had a mixture of feelings when it came to the young lady, jealously for they wished they could say that and appreciation towards the girl for she did not realise that she was a true beauty.  

The first dance began only when the king stood and choose a lady. He walked swiftly throw the stone hall with tapestries along the four walls.  He stood infront of Lady Ginny who rised. The couple started in the middle of the room.  

"I know you want me." Edward whispered in her ear. 

"I cannot lie, sir. I do. But.. I am not going to drop my values. In court, they want to destroy a ladies reputation." Ginny began.

"Meet me in the chapel in a couple hours. When all go to sleep, I shall arrange for Friar John to marry us." 

Ginny replied with a simple nod of her head. They continued to dance but if anyone had noticed Edward grip Ginny a little tighter and Ginny leaned into Edward. It was as though now that they had made a decision they both dropped the act.
