There were rules that were made to keep Ovendale the sentuary it is. They are displayed in a book, about 50 pages long. One page, one rule. They seemed quite simple to follow at first glance but once you began your life her to realised just how hard it could be. The rules includes things such as, no divorces, only one child, no dating only marriage, no children unless married and approved by the town mayor and several other rules to prevent any kind of conflict. I wasn't married yet, not me. My parents have tried to marry me off numerous times but I have refused, I believe in love, and only love one person. But no one will know. The town follows these rules, almost like there in auto pilot, it's there life and they don't know any different. Did I mention that there was a whole other set of laws for teenagers. No touching, no sexual relations of any kind, no relationships, your first kiss must be at your wedding and your first time having sex must be when you are conceiving your child. You must get at least a C grade in every subject and you must not have friends. Friends cause trouble. As I walk around school everyday I look at all of the other students and I realise how depressing it is when we are not in the woods. There is no laughing, no joy at all,  just the silence, or the occasional muttering of a in depth studdier. That's why we always escape, almost every day. We escape to a place were theee were no rules, because once you leave those boundaries there are no rules, just endless freedom. I think that's what so appealing, every teenager wants freedom but not as much of the ones who don't have it. The ones who have never experienced it, the ones who long for that feeling, the feeling of no responsibility, no need for good grades. Nothing, just the silence, and the peace.
