Chapter Four

"Excuse me", i said as i reached the information desk.

The woman smiled at me. "Yes?", she asked.

She looks cute and squishy and i can't help but to smile in return.

"I'm Kang Seulgi and i have an appointment here", i introduced myself.

Before answering, she checked the log book first and searched for my name.

After a minute or so, she faced me. "Fifth floor"

I nodded. "Thank you"

I went straight to the elevator and pressed the fifth floor button. I tucked my hair at the back of my ear as i bit my lip. I'm nervous.

It's not that I'm not used to this, this is the biggest deal I've ever had. And this deal costs a fortune. I mean, everyone needs money nowadays.

I exhaled loudly. This is it, I'm meeting up the big client. You can do this, Seulgi.

When the door opened, i straightly walked inside. There's only one door in this floor. I opened it and a hallway welcomed me. There's a door on the right side and a door opposite to it.

I peeked at the door on the left side. It looks like a living room or so-what-ever, there's a massage chair on the corner but there's no one inside.

The place is so quiet and it's kinda creepy. Plus the lighting is quiet dim. I think i went to the wrong floor.

"Miss Kang?"

I almost jumped in my place when i heard someone spoke behind me.

Good thing, i was able to cover my mouth to shut myself from screaming.

That freaking startled me.

"I'm sorry", she apologized.

A woman maybe at her 30's faced me. I breath in.

I composed myself and fake a coughed. "It's okay. I really get startled easily"

"Oh, my bad, i didn't mean to shock you. By the way, I'm Jung Cheona. You're the architect, right?"

I smiled. "Ah yes. I'm Kang Seulgi. Nice to meet you", i said then bowed.

"Great. They're waiting at the conference room. Follow me", she stated then lead the way.

I followed her until she stopped infront of a door. She knocked three times before facing me.

"Goodluck", she said before leaving.

"Thank you", i replied and give her a smile.

That helped me calmed down a bit.

I blew out a soft sigh before entering. I wide room welcomed me with a rectangular shaped table in the middle. A fat guy was seating at the end of the table with a guy sitting beside him. They were talking not until their gaze averted on mine.

I bowed at them. "Good morning, sir"

They stood up. "Good morning, please have a sit" the fat guy said as he lend the sit on his left side. I obeyed and sat on it.

"Before we start, let us introduce ourselves properly. I'm Bang Shi Hyuk and this is Mr. Son Sungdeuk", the fat guy said as he lend his hand for a handshake.

This is strange. Why do i feel like they're familiar? Their names, i think i heard it from someone. I just can't remember.

"I'm Kang Seulgi", i introduced and then we shaked hands, i did the same to Mr. Song.
