THE DARKNESS THAT ENVELOPED EMILIE like a shield was slowly torn away as her eyes slowly opened. It was still dark around her, though she could make out the figure that sat above her. Her brown eyes narrowed slightly as she tried to see who it was, but soon as blue met brown she knew exactly who was watching her. "How're you feeling? You kind of scared everyone when you passed out."

"I'm okay," She croaked out before she tried to sit up, Theo's hands instantly went to help the Tribrid sit up, his eyes checking her worriedly. Emilie caught herself staring back at him as his hands didn't move from under her arms, she shrugged him off and cracked her fingers before what happened hours before hit her like a ton of bricks. "Lydia! I have to see her!"

"She's okay." He said before he pushed her backwards once she tried to jump out of her bed. "She's in surgery, Scott said to tell you he'd text you once she's out. You need to rest." Emilie scoffed and folded her arms over her chest, her brown eyes rolling as she did so.

"I do not need rest."

"Then how come you passed out? How come your nose bled so much you nearly choked on it? How come everyone had to try and convince Scott you weren't dying?" Theo listed as his eyebrows furrowed, his tone slightly harsher than he intended.

Emilie pulled the red elastic band from her wrist and threw her hair into a ponytail, her fingers moving to pull out strands of hair to frame her face. "I always pass out once I've used too much magic at once, nose bleeding is just an effect and I doubt I nearly choked on it. You're being dramatic, Theo. And Scott knows this, he was probably upset because of Lydia."

Theo clicked his tongue as his phone vibrated, he pulled it out of his pocket with a playful grin on his face as his blue met her brown. "Hey, there is nothing wrong with being dramatic. Personally I love being so. . . theatrical." It was quiet for a few seconds as they stared blankly at each other before laughs fell from their lips.

A vibration from Emilie's bedside table pulled her brown away from his blue, she reached out and picked up her phone, a click coming from her tongue once she read the numerous texts Stiles had sent.

Biles: Are you okay?

Biles: I heard you're with Theo, is he being nice?

Biles: I'll kick his ass if he's being a dick, I will. I don't care about his stupid extra strength, for I have the power of DETERMINATION!

Biles: Joking, obviously, but seriously, I don't trust him with you and you shouldn't trust him either. There's something off about him.

Biles: Text me when you get these, Em. See you later.

"Who is it?" Theo asked after a few minutes of silence, Emilie quickly typed a reply which consisted on her telling Stiles to shut his mouth before she kicked his ass. Her brown flicked up from her phone screen and gave the Beta a look.
