The Night After We Met

READER'S POV

I woke up the next day with a bad hangover and Sarah wasn't as bad as me since she didn't drink much. I sat up on the bed while clutching my head in pain and then Sarah came over to me with some painkillers and glass of water.

"Morning Miss hungover, here, take some of these."

"Thanks."

I took some painkillers and I drank some water.

"So, tell me the worst, did Eileen scold us when she found out we were out very late?"

"Nope, in fact, she didn't even notice that we had disappeared in the middle of the night and came back in the early hours but, it was still worth going, I didn't have that much fun in ages."

"Well, I'm glad it helped, by the way, have you seen my phone?"

"Yeah, it's right here."

Sarah got my phone from her bag and she said to me.

"It fell out of your pocket when we got back to our room, I managed to put it on silent before Eileen noticed we were trying to sneak in."

"Thanks."

I looked at my phone and I got a few messages from my friends and from an unknown number. I looked at the message and it said.

'I had a great time last night and it was nice meeting you as well. From Seth x'

"Oh that's right, I gave my number to Seth, I nearly forgot all about it."

"Well, he certainly did take a shining to you, anyway, we better get changed before Eileen wonders why we're taking so long to get changed."

I nodded my head in agreement and then we got changed. I got changed into my school wear.

I wore my black school shirt, a choker necklace with a small cross on it, my elbow length leather jacket, (F/c) tank top, a studded belt, ripped jeans and combat boots.

I tied my hair back in a ponytail and I applied some black eyeliner, black eyeshadow (not too much of it on), dark red lipstick and I lightly applied some blush on my cheeks. I checked myself in the mirror and I was ready to go. Sarah and I got downstairs and breakfast was already made which was pancakes.

I sat down at my usual spot and so did Sarah. While we were having breakfast, Eileen came into the dining room and she said to me.

"(Y/n), Sarah, once you two had your breakfast, I would like a word please?"

Sarah and I looked at each other and we both mumbled.

"Uh oh."

After we had breakfast, Sarah and I stood there in Eileen's office and she said to us.

"Girls, tell me the truth, have you two been to that club last night, where (Favourite DJ/Artist) was playing last night?"

"Club? what club?"

"You know what I'm talking about (Y/n) and don't even think about lying, Ryan told me."

A tick mark appeared on my head and I thought to myself.

'That little prat is dead when I get my paws on him.'

"Like I said, I don't know what you're talking about and even it is true, Sarah and I didn't go, I gave the tickets to one of my friends."

"Your friends? you mean John the drug dealer or Samual the 'getaway driver."

"Hey! they're not that bad."
