Stress. It's something that comes as a part of the package when you hit a certain age that makes you wish you could just go back to the time when your only stress in life was if you would miss the new episode of iCarley after school. It's something massive and scary to handle at times and it can overpower your life. But it doesn't need to.
Find things that calm you down. For me, whenever I'm stressed I just listen to ASMR, or I watch a few YouTube videos I love, or maybe I'll read a book. All these things distract my mind from stress, and allow me release from it for a few hours. Maybe you'll find that doing sport, listening to music, or even sleeping will help you remove yourself from stress.
Despite the fact that you need to take a break from stress, you also need to face the cause of your stress head on. It might be friendship group problems, too much work from school, body image or bullying. Whatever it is, you need to find a way to fix this problem and the best way to do this is to discuss it with someone. I always find that I get less stressed when I vent to someone, so whether it be a close friend, relative or even the Internet, find a way to express but also find a solution to your stress.
Stress is something that can't be ignored, and you need to find ways to deal with it because you'll be faced with it thousands of times in your life. If you let it consume you you'll never get anything done, so finding ways to cope with it is vital especially at this age. Despite what you may think now, whatever you're stressing about probably won't be important in years to come (unless it's something massive like World War 3).
