There's this thing which always seems to run out before I get to doing what I really need to be. It's this little thing called time. Time has never been my best friend, it always seems to go by too quickly when I want it most and too slowly when I want boring lessons to end.
Managing your time can be hard when you've got school, friends, clubs, fanfics to read etc. But it's an important skill, one I've just about tackled.
My biggest tip is to have a physical list of stuff you need to do. Hear me out. A to-do list keeps your brain focused on what needs to be done in that day, so write down everything that you need to do - and I mean everything. Not only is ticking these things off really satisfying, but it keep you on task.
As well as this, try and hide distractions from yourself if you know you need to get your homework done. I usually put my phone in a different room if I know I need to just get an essay done.
