A/N: Warning!

Aliche P.O.V.

Kalin and Myles's performances in Cali were phenomenal. Everyone was so live and it was exciting. Which made things harder and harder on me. We are currently at Summerfest in Milwaukee. Nicole and I are in the crowd recording videos with Star. They already know what's going on and they're happy for me. I don't know how Kalin is going to take my news. What I do know is I have to tell him soon before its too late.

"Good morning, babe," said Kalin shaking me awake.

"Good morning."

"What are our plans for the day? It's Independence Day."

"Well we have a flight back home in two hours and we are having a barbecue at my parents."

"Then let's go!" We got ready and went to the airport. We almost missed our flight because Kalin didn't wake me up earlier. My parents were there to pick up me, Kalin, Nic, Myles, and Mama Star. When we got to the house, Jake, Ms. Debbie, Tyler and Cam were already there. They were setting up the backyard for the party.

Family and friends from out of town came and I knew they were all here for the big news, "Attention!" My dad yelled out to the little crowd. "This is not only a Fourth of July party, but a congratulations party for my baby girl."

I was standing next to Kalin with his arm around me, when I felt him tense a little. He looked down at me confused, "What is he talking about?"

"My daughter," continued my father, "was accepted into Pennsylvania State University!"

Everyone cheered. Except Kalin. He looked at me, before walking into the house. I looked around and saw Nic and Myles's worried faces, but was hounded by family and friends congratulating me. After I thanked everyone, I went inside the house to find my boyfriend. I went upstairs to my room and saw him outside on the balcony. You could see the bay bridge from my room. It was beautiful at night. Especially with the city lights surrounding it.

"It's beautiful out here," I approached him slowly.

"When did you find out?" he asked, not looking at me.

"A couple of weeks ago." It was silent for a while, "Kalin, please talk to me."

"I'm happy for you, Aliche. I really am. I just wish you would've told me earlier."

"I'm sorry, baby," I hugged him and he kissed my forehead.

"It's OK. You'll be going away in the fall, but we still have the summer together and we can-"

"I got accepted for early admission, Kalin."

"What?" he moved away from me, "What do you mean?"

I took a deep breath, "I leave in three days," the words came out rushed.

"Three days? Aliche! Why didn't you tell me!?"

"I was afraid!"

"Afraid of what!?"

"Afraid that I wouldn't be able to leave! My whole life is here. Right here!" The tears were streaming down my face.

"Then stay! Don't go. You can go to school here" he grabbed my hands and held them in his.

"It's not that easy, Kalin. I need to go. This school is amazing for what I want to major in. Besides, you didn't expect me to follow you around while you worked on your music?" I meant that as a joke, but the look on his face stated the opposite. "Did you really think that I was just going to stay here? While you work?"
