I was worried about my mom, she had been very quiet for a long time. She is always talking so I knew something was wrong. "Whats wrong?" I asked. "Oh, nothing," she replied, but I could tell she was lying. I decided not to point that out. Maybe I will ask later. It was 9:30 when we reached our private beach cottage. We were exhausted from driving all afternoon, so we went straight to bed. That night was rough.
It took me hours to fall asleep and when I finnaly did, I had a nightmare. My mom and I were in a grocery store. It was dark. Everybody else was gone. I was going to ask my mom why we were here so late at night, but she whisperd to me to be quiet. She carefully crept along the shelves like she was looking for something, wait not something, someone. I started to panick. I knew I was just dreaming, but it felt so real. I turned around, and my mom wasn't there. I ran through the shelves trying to find her. When I found her she was lying on the ground asleep. Wait not asleep, dead. I woke up with a start. I needed to find my mom and make sure she was okay. I could feel panick rising in my chest. She wasn't in her bedroom. I ran downstairs and found a note on the counter. It read: Dear Jason, I went to the beach with breakfast. Come meet me down there. Love, Mom. I started to calm down and ran to the beach.
