Ch. 2 The Assignment

Aphmau's P.O.V

Friday

It was like any other Friday. I was in my office typing up the Skyarmy's mission summaries for the week. (I know fun right.) When I heard running through the hallways, so I went to go see who it was.

I looked out to see who it was and saw Agent Shed and Agent Buddar running through the Skyarmy's wing.

Shelby's P.O.V

*10 minutes previous in Adams office*

I walk up to Agent Buddar's door. I take a deep breath and knock on it four times.

"Come in," says Buddar.

"You wanted to see me Buddar?" I aks him. I was a little nervous since I only get called in when he needs my help with Zed or Narwhal, which is scary since they can go completely insane sometimes.

"Yes. Come in Shed," Buddar said, "I need you to check the Skyarmy's weapons ro-" He was interrupted by someone knocking on the door, "Come in."

I look over to see who it was. I smile inside to see that it is the boss. This might mean we have a mission. "Hello, Boss!" I say.

"Shed, Buddar I need you and the rest of the Skyarmy to come to my office," said The Boss.

"Why?" questioned Buddar.

"Because I have a mission for you." The Boss said as he left. I was right! We have a mission. I am so excited. We haven't had a mission in a while.

"Shed you get Zed and Shu. I'll get Narwhal, Apple, and Dirt." Buddar said.

"Yes sir," I say as I leave.

Aphmau's P.O.V

Agent Shed ran up to me and said, "Come on Shu we need to go to The Boss' office."

"What why?" I ask. This is very strange. Usually, Buddar will send us an email or come to us personally. But, I wasn't complaining.

"We are getting a mission assignment." Yes! a mission. I love the thrill of fighting and the nerve-wracking excitement of going undercover.

"Really what kind?"

"I don't know now come on. We need to go and get Zed."

"Alright. Let's go." I said as we went down the hall to Zed's room. We knocked on the door. He wasn't answering so we knocked again. After about 5 minutes of KNOCKING NON-STOP, he finally answered.

"WHAT DO YOU GUYS WANT!!!!!! I WAS BUSY!!!!" Zed yelled angerly.

"Busy doing what?" Shed asked curiously.

"None of your business," he replied irritated.

"The Boss needs us in his office. Let's go," I said. And without giving him a chance to reply Shed and I left. We heard him walking behind us.

We arrived at The Boss' office and just walked right in because he knew that we were coming. The rest of the Skyarmy was already there.

"Welcome Skyarmy. Today your mission isn't that abnormal. You are going under cover as High school students at Phoenix Drop High. My scouts in the area have reported Shadow Knights in the area. Your mission is to find them and to find out what their plan is. You leave in 10 minutes. Pack only the essentials. The house already had clothes and recording rooms for all of you. Good luck Skyarmy. You are dismissed," The Boss told us.

We all left and went to our rooms. Hhhmmm. Only pack the essentials. I know, he must mean all my weapons and spy gear. I went into my mini weapons room and pulled out my duffle bag for my weapons. I then proceeded to pack my guns, knives, swords, and any other weapons I had.
I then proceeded to put my spy gear in another duffle bag.

After that, I went to the Skyarmy's weapons room and started to help the others pack those weapons. When we finished we brought our bags and boxes to the Skyarmy's agent van and got in. Zed was the only one who knew the way to Phoenix Drop from Scaleswind where are the Bureau is located.

We all got in and started our long drive to Phoenix Drop.
