I was sitting in my room keeling on the floor thinking about what Ruby told me. So, Tai threatened her. At such a young age too, so dishonorable. Makes me wonder if this is what happened with the others or if they had different reasons. The only way is if i ask them, but one i'm not so sure about is Raven. She could be anywhere around remnant with her tribe. I stand up and walk over to my stand for my armor putting it on but setting my helmet on my bed as i grab my swords tieing them to my waist. Then i grab my helmet holding it on my side as i leave my room to my sister ruby's dorm. I knocked on the door.
"Coming", said a voice. The door opened to show ruby.
"Hello ruby", i said greeting her with a bow.
"Max!!!", she said happily hugging me surprising me.
"So what are you doing here?", she asked.
"To ask her some questions", i said looking at yang as she avoided my gaze.
"oh, ok", she said solemnly.
I grabbed a chair and put it in the middle of the room facing yang on her bed. She was definitely uncomfortable as i could tell from her body language. I looked at her with a thoughtful look before i asked yang my question. She never looked at me once since i walked in.
"Mrs. xiao long, i have a question i need answered if you would please?", i asked.
"Ok", she said sadly.
"When you ask me please look me in my eyes so i can see the truth. Yang, why did you abuse me?", i asked. She then finally looked at me for the first time in my eyes and i could see the hurt and regret in them.
"I..hurt you...because i thought it was ok", she said lying. In her eyes i saw it for a second, but enough to know what it was.
"You enjoyed it, didn't you?", i asked. I saw tears build up in her eyes as she began to ball sobbing at the same time.
"I....did....i loved every minute of it, but after....you...left. I saw the error of my ways and regretted everything. My mother had this...ideology that the strong must prowl on the weak and i began to do it also. My father also embedded it in my mind too", she said with tears as she looked down.
I stood up and placed a comforting hand on yang's shoulder making her look up. It hurt me to see her like this. All she had was tears in her eyes that were begging for forgiveness. I looked at her with a neutral look on my face as i thought about my words before i turned around and walked out the door.
"I am sorry yang for giving you this pain, but you are forgiven for your past transgressions", i said before i left.
That's the second time that tai has been the one who started something. I only have one more person to ask my questions, before i do something i might regret. I walked over to the bullhead landing pads taking a bullhead to vale. I walked through vale heading to the docks to take another bullhead heading straight to patch. After awhile i walked on and found seat as i put my helmet on to prepare myself for what might happen. I blink for a second and saw me when i was a kid again, i think i'll just call him young me for now. I looked left and right to see that no one was close to me, so i can talk to him without anyone thinking i was crazy.
"So, your heading back?", young me asked.
"Yes, to find some answers about my past", i answered.
"you sure you can handle going back there?", he asked showing concern.
"I have to if i want to get the answers i see", i answered.
"Hm, looks like you've stopped runing", he said as he vanished as we docked.
