Chapter 1 ~ Reborn

Location- Fukui City 

Ridiculous, is the word I would use for my life. Thrown from foster home to foster home, just because I wasn't what they wanted. Some homes were nice but they couldn't keep me because of money problems or being I wasn't their sweet little doll like daughter. The others were horrible, I would be beaten or starved if I didn't act like a doll or I looked at them the wrong way but some were criminals or drug dealers were soon killed or murdered. Ridiculous, yeah assholes. But I did find one family that loved me, the Afoul Family.

Simo and Georgia were loving parents and Ere was a wonderful grandmother, soon enough I got a baby sister, Aki. It was wonderful until tragedy shuck, Ere passed away and Simo's company had debts beyond belief and Simo was in the middle of it, he became very depressed, Georgia was worried about her husband and I was worried about our family since this has happened before where I was thrown away.

Then one day, Simo told us that we were going for a drive, Georgia had Aki and I sit on one seat since Aki loved sitting in my lap, Simo smiled but I could see he was sad. We drove for hour, soon Georgia and Aki fell asleep.

"Get some sleep my Lily." Simo said.

"Okay...Dad." I said, I closed my eyes but not without seeing my father's tear eyes smile.

"Yes, loving daughter."

I finally have a family.....That's what I thought anyway.

I woke up to us falling, my father was passed out on the wheel and mother wasn't waking up, Ali was still cuddled to me like she wasn't feeling this. I felt scared and lonely, I kicked the window of the car, trying to break it and when it did break, I jumped out with Aki tightly cuddled to my body. I was able to save myself and Aki but I felt something wrong with my left eye, I felt it and I saw blood leaking out.

I screamed, I got up after screaming and walked a few metres before I was seen by a couple, they called the ambulance. I sat down and held Aki close, the ambulance came but I refused to let Aki go, they took us to the hospital. The doctors told me that Aki had taken some sleeping pills but she didn't really take them of her own free will, Father had slip them in our drinks but since Aki accidentally knocked mine over, I of course wasn't put to sleep, and about my eye, I had landed on a stick that poked through my eye but since I was so focused on saving myself and Aki, I hadn't noticed how injured I really was.

Months later, Aki was told Mother and Father had gone away, she cried and cried, she didn't leave my side at all even when I went to the bathroom, which I can understand, she thought that if Mother and Father had left then I would too.

One day, Aki and I were in the garden of the hospital, since my eye was being monitored and I was on a waiting list for an eye, along with us not having any other family members. We met a elderly woman, she was lovely and when she saw my eye, she was kind enough to request her eye to be given to me. I was given her eye, I thanked her dearly and I soon found out she had an illness and died later on, when she died, Aki and I were there with her, we met her brother who was even more kind enough to adopted my sister and myself, he allowed us to keep our Afoul last name.

Years went by and Aki, myself and the woman's brother were happy, of course Aki and myself now live alone but Aki had to live with the brother for a year since I went into a coma. I woke up with no memory of how it happened but no one told me, they said it be best if I didn't know, I was okay with it since I was more worried about Aki.

So now, here I am, walking down the street. Oh, my name is Lily, yes I'm named after a flower, aged 22, I have silver hair and yes it is silver reaching past my butt, my original eye colour was blue like sapphire but with my right being replaced, it is now golden and I also wear red glasses, and for some unknown reason I had birth like mark on the edges of my eyes and for my age I have huge breast which gets me into a bit of trouble. At this moment I'm wearing white collared t-shirt with the top two buttons undone, a lose tied red and orange checkered tie, matching skirt, a red blazer with black at the sleeves and collar, golden bead chain on the side of my skirt black and white high above knee length sock, black boots and a black choker.
