Chapter 6 ~ Prince's Duty

Recap: After being told Alibaba's past, I got a headache that caused to pass out in Sinbad's arm. I dreamt of a memory I didn't even know I had. I met Sinbad years ago but why do I not remember anything after that meeting, it feel like I forgetting something else..

Aki POV

Big sis had left, she didn't look well but I know she is strong, Alibaba continue with his story. He already told me when we were travelling to Balbadd, I don't think I could still be friends with someone like Cassim. Yeah, he was Alibaba's family but what he was wrong no matter how you slice it.

"When I came to. I was notified that the king had passed away, by the end of the day, I had fled from Balbadd. After that, I made a living by working for wages in the oasis villages and since I'd always dreamed about it. I hope that if I enter a dungeon and got hold of some treasure, I could make amends..I really started to believe that it could be done. But in the end, I was all talk and I spent my days just drifting along without a care...Aladdin. That changed when I met you." Alibaba said, Aladdin gasped.

"I can agree with that." I said.

Kimiko POV

"Very interesting. So he's the former king's illegitimate child." Sinbad said, holding a cup to the wall with an unconscious Lily held close to his chest.

"Really now Sin. Eavesdropping on them is such bad taste." Ja'far said, doing the same thing.

"Said the man doing the same thing." I said, rising an eyebrow.

"Well...." Ja'far tried to explain.

"Shh.." Sinbad shushed us.

"Mmmm." Lily started to stir, Sinbad dropped his cup and stared down at her, pulling her close to him.

"Lily." He whispered. Oh Our King, please Lily, remember who you are. We missed you and now you're back but you can't remember us, that breaks our hearts, especially Sinbad. If not for our sake but for Sinbad's sake, he has been lost without you even if he won't admit it.

Lily slowly crack my eyes open and see Sinbad staring at her with concern in his eyes, she slowly started to lift herself up out of Sinbad's arm.

"Miss Lily please, you need to rest." I said, she still looked weak.

"No, I'm fine. Probably just exhausted from before, nothing to worry about." She assured me, I could see Sinbad's hands on her shoulders, holding her up.

"Are you sure? You were muttering in your sleep." Sinbad said.

"I guess, I was just remembering a few thing, Eggplant Sinbad. You've grown, I guess a little bit more handsome but I think I liked you better as a kid." She said. Lily is starting to remember.

"You..you remember." Sinbad asked, his voice was shocked and happy.

"Only how I met you really." She said, Sinbad's face did slightly deflated but he still looked happy.

"I see, that's good. We'll work from there." Lily did look confused.

"JUST LEAVE!" We all heard Alibaba shout, something is happening in there.

"Tell that brat to shut it." Lily complained, holding her head.

"OW! That hurt! Aladdin! Aki!" Alibaba yelled. The two little magicians must have done something, maybe hit him over the head, Lily smirked at Aki's Name.

Then an explosion went off in the children's room, we all gasped and quickly stood up on high alert and lucky we were ready because a small Fog Troupe Squad cornered us, I quickly stepped in front of Lily, acting like a shield while Masrur and Ja'far stay beside Sinbad.
