Chapter 3 ~ Meeting an Idiot called a King Part 2

Recap: Lily here. Okay, I'm now in Balbadd with Aladdin and Morgiana. We found a naked man on our way there. His name is Sinbad, he appears to be an idiot but he is a King...o lord help his country.

"You okay?" Lily asked, Sinbad who was rubbing his back.

"Oh, I'm alright. I just wasn't prepared for that move, you used." Sinbad tried to assure her, Kimiko was giggling in the background.

"Like old times." She said, Lily looked at her with confusion.

"Now, as you were saying Ja'far." Lily turned to Ja'far.

They were all in a room together with Ja'far standing in front of them and Kimiko standing behind them while the others were sitting on a couch, going from the left Aladdin, Sinbad, Lily, Masrur and Morgiana with a table in the middle with a map on top of it. The map had two red circles of noble homes.

"I believe the Fog Troupe will strike either the mansion of Aljaris, the wealthy merchant or Haldub, the nobleman." Ja'far explained.

"What makes you so sure?" Sinbad asked.

"I've been secretly releasing false information on the military's strategic movements. As there seems to be Fog Troupe sympathisers within the government, as well."

"Even within the government, huh?"

"It's a smart move if you want to get important information. Most people use this method during a war or tactical situation, this Fog Troupe is quite resourceful." Lily commented, everyone looked at her.

"Really Miss Lily?" Aladdin asked.

"Of course, if you want to be ahead of you enemy and know what their next move is then having a mole in your enemy's ranks is the way to do it." Aladdin and Morgiana's eyes sparkled.

"Miss Lily, I didn't know you were so intelligent." Sinbad praised, Lily glances over to Sinbad.

"Well, I'm not like most girls who just play with dolls and dresses. I choose to be more into books and sport, of course most boys are more interested in the damsel in distress type which I find quite sad." Lily and Sinbad stared into each other's eyes, both were looking for something and Sinbad just smiled.

"I can see you are not like the other woman, which I believe some men would like you for your differences." Lily smirked, Sinbad lightly blushed not that anyone saw.

"Back to the manner at hand." Lily turned to conversation back to Ja'far.

"Yes. Apparently, the Fog Troupe's rising popularity is reaching far beyond our expectations."

"Umm.. If they're really supported by so many. Are you sure capturing the Fog Troupe the right thing for us to be doing?" Morgiana asked.

"It seems to be the right thing to me. They take the money that they've stole for others and redistribute. Gaining people's trust, making them known as so called Chivalrous Thieves. But here's how I look at it, what if that were just a ploy just to justify their crimes or propaganda to get people on their side, understand? So I believe they must be brought to justice, I've truly given this a lot of thought and I have to do what feels right. I want you all to consider mine and for yourself what should be done here and act on the answer you come up with, believing in it fully. That's the way, I've chosen to pave my own path, I wonder how you guys will do." Sinbad announced.

"Now I can see a king in you. Mmm, let's see how long you show us how much of King you really are?" Lily whispered, Masrur and Morgiana were the only ones who heard her.

They split into two groups, Ja'far and Kimiko were with Aladdin and Morgiana while Lily was paired with Sinbad and Masrur, at first it was hard to determine who is with who, so Lily and Kimiko can up with the idea to draw straws. But unknown to Lily, Kimiko sabotaged the straws so Lily would end up with Sinbad, sadly she didn't count on Masrur being with them, though Masrur knew what she did and why she did.
