"Hey, Mika... Why did you choose me, of all people, to show you around?"
He was curiously looking at the blonde who lied next to him and stared up at the star-lit sky. A smirk appearing on his face, Mikaela shifted his gaze over to Yuichiro, "Because, I know I can have you."

"BEEP. BEEP. BEEP." Repetitive beeps sounding from an alarm, Yuichiro woke up with a disturbed grunt and hit the dismiss button. His head was aching so horribly; he felt awful.
His memories from the night before were hazy. What all even happened? All he could recall was walking around town with Mika, going into some shops and getting some hot chocolate. They even star-gazed, he thought. But, nothing else? He didn't even remember how it all ended and how he got home.
The boy sat up, feeling even more pain. "Shit..." He groaned lowly with a hand pressed to his head and stumbled off the bed, eyes barely even open; they were looking squinted even, seeing everything blurry. Somehow, though, he did manage to get dressed for the day; wearing his school uniform that was on the floor from the day before. And, his vision improved some after that, although it wasn't completely clear.
Bags were visible underneath his eyes, expressing that he was tired and achy. His skin was pale and he seemed to be a little out-of-it. However, he progressed to school, avoiding his father on his way out of the house. He didn't want to deal with him this morning.
On the bus ride there, Yuu found himself trying to recall the details of the night before. Mika's face throughout the night was all smiles and gentleness; they had a good time together. So, what led to him losing his memory?
Yuichiro remembered telling Mika about his life; about his fantasy of traveling the world and becoming an adventurer, which of he never shared with anyone before except his best friend, Shinoa.
Mikaela even told him about his plan to study the oceans, saying he had an intense interest in it. He seemed to have only little hope in his plan, though.
There was something off-setting with Mika throughout the night, Yuu remembered noticing. It was almost as if the guy was trapped, dwelling in the dark. There was a sad look of conflict in his eyes often, but for the most part, he kept up and was talkative.
He also recalled lying in the field by the creek with him, it was an uncommon spot in the town, no other person to be seen. It was their first alone time that night.
"I know I can have you."
Suddenly, that sentence from Mika began to ring in his head and his eyebrows furrowed.
That conversation, what exactly happened after it..? Yuu couldn't remember the rest of the night after that. That was all.
He'd have to ask Mikaela when he got to school.

The whole day, Mikaela was nowhere to be found. It was like he fell off the face of the earth, no longer existing. Yuichiro was getting frustrated.Did Mika know something about last night? Was he trying to avoid Yuu because of it?
"No, you're just over-thinking," Yuichiro whispered to himself, looking down at the counter that he had his hands pressed to. He was in the bathroom again, the place he always went to during lunch. It was the only quiet room in this building. He glanced up at the mirror and frowned at his reflection. He looked so gross.
He just wanted to know what events took place before the morning; why couldn't he remember them and why did he feel and look so ill? Mikaela had to know something.
"Mika, where the hell are you?"
And just after he said that, the bells to the school went off, leaving him to dread the rest of the day in his boring classes.
