I smiled and crossed my arms, looking at the newly painted basement. It was going to be used as a storage room for Griffin and me, seeing as we don't have enough space for things upstairs. I sighed happily, gazing at my work before walking upstairs. It's currently 10 at night, so I went with the most logical thing to do. I walked to the room that I shared with Griffin for the time being since something seemed to be wrong with mine. I laid down and closed my eyes, drifting into a deep sleep.

As the morning sun shined through the windows, I felt the bed move. I slowly open my eyes to examine the figure moving closer to the door, relaxing when I realized it was Griffin. I sat up and yawned, rubbing my eyes. I quickly jumped off the bed and ran out of the room, nearly toppling my friend over. "Sorry, Grif! I just need to start moving boxes downstairs!" I shout as I ran to the basement door. We had 5 boxes by the door already. That's a lot of stuff for just two people.

I pick up a box that looked the heaviest, just so I could get it out of the way. Griffin ran over and quickly came to my aid, picking up the other end of the box. "Be careful, (Y/N)... I don't want you to end up in the hospital again..." I laughed at that. "That won't happen! I haven't been back there in over 3 years!" "Yeah, but it can still happen!" I let out another laugh as he huffed quietly. We get downstairs and place the box down somewhere before running up and getting another. We did that for the rest of them because we did need them down there.

Griffin sighed with relief that it was the last box. He was getting tired from what it looks like. He waved and walked upstairs for water as I examined the boxes. One of them was opened. Mind you, none of them were open when we took them down. 'Griffin probably opened one by accident.' I thought to myself as I walked to the box. There was a doll on top of all of the stuff in there. It... Looked just like me... Suddenly, my head became extremely dizzy. "Griffin! Please come down here something's wrong!" I shouted as I fell to my knees.

I heard footsteps but they weren't Griffins. Griffin had this tendency to stomp his feet when he runs up or down the stairs. I look over to the staircase and let my eyes widen in surprise. I started to back up. I needed to get somewhere safer than here... "Hello, my precious little doll..." The mahogany haired idiot spoke sweetly as he continued to creep closer to me. "Wh-what are you doing here, Jason?!" I shout, hoping Griffin is calling the police. Jason's lips curled up to form a small smile, his eyes narrowing a little. He never spoke any words, though.

Soon, he was towering over me, slowly leaning closer to my face. I tried to get away from him but he pressed his arm against my chest, causing me to try and flatten myself against the wall. He looked at me with this hungry look in his eyes, glancing down at my lips before meeting my fear-filled eyes. He leaned closer to me, his lips gently brushing over mine. "How I missed you, my dear..." I stayed silent, looking at him. He didn't do anything for a little, but then, he kissed me. I tried to fight him but he moved his arm off of my chest and grabbed my wrists, holding them together as I tried desperately to get away.

I heard loud footsteps. A lot of loud footsteps. Jason pulled away from my lips a little, snarling. I quickly headbutt him, causing him to groan with pain and let go of my wrists. I pushed myself to the side, standing up as soon as I could. I looked around the room, my fear slowly leaving me. It was police officers. I quickly ran behind one as Jason stood up straight and looked at me with that hungry look again. I shivered at the look as two police officers raised their guns. The one I was behind told me to cover my ears and so like the good person I am, I did. Also my eyes.

I heard two gunshots and screams of pain. When everything seemed calm, I opened my eyes, looking at the scene as my fear came back. Jason was standing there with a huge smile. One of the officers was down on the ground. He had two gunshot wounds in him. I whispered to the cop I was behind that I need his gun. Of course, he was confused, but he saw the confident look in my eyes swimming in the sea of fear. He secretly handed me the gun and I quickly hid it behind my back.

"Fine, Jason. You won. I'll be your... Precious doll..." My voice was tinged with fear, even though I tried to sound as serious as possible. The two remaining cops looked at me, worried. I walked over to Jason, gulping. He had a sly smirk on his face. When I was close enough, he grabbed my free arm and pulled me closer, kissing me. I kissed back as he closed his eyes, snaking his arms around my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck, resting the handle of the gun on the back of my hand so he wouldn't feel it. He lifted me up a little so it was easier for him to have his way with me. I fumbled with the gun before I got it to point at the back of Jason's head, quickly pulling the trigger.

Jason dropped me. I landed on my ass, hissing at the pain. He fell forward. Thankfully, I rolled out of the way. I looked at the cops with widened eyes. They quickly walked over, making sure I was okay. I would need to stay at a hotel for a few days so they can clean my house, which I didn't really understand at first. As we were walking out of the basement, I glanced at the two bodies. I wish I was able to save the cop.

As I got into the kitchen, I looked in the living room and teared up. Griffin was on the floor, laying in a puddle of his own blood. I covered my mouth as the tears started to roll down my cheeks. I ran to his side, shaking his body. "Griffin wake up please Griffin!" I scream his name. I looked over and saw his phone. I quickly grabbed it and looked at his last call made. It was the police. If Griffin didn't do that... I would have been kidnapped... I sobbed loudly, picking up his motionless corpse and hugging it. I started to scream his name, asking him to please stay with me a little longer.

I heard a quiet cough so I looked down at the man in my arms. I started to cry more. His eyes slowly opened, examining my face. "(Y/N)?... Wh-whats the matter?... Wh-why are you c-crying?..." His voice was so filled with pain. "Pl-please... St-stay with m-me..." "An ambulance is on its way, ma'am." I heard one of the cops say as Griffen raised a shaky hand to my cheek, wiping away the tears. "Pl-please... Don't l-leave...." "I won't... N-not ever..." Griffin smiled a little before he went back into a limp state, his eyes closing and his smiling fading. I shook him, starting to cry again. "Gr-Griffin?! Griffin! An-answer me!"

The ambulance arrived shortly after that, taking my friend away. I don't have anyone now... Not for a while, at least... Saphhire had died a year ago and we had a funeral service for her, so until Griffin comes back, I'm on my own... I stood at the door of my house, looking in as I hold my suitcase close to me. I close the door as tears grew in my eyes, walking to the hotel nearby for a room. Today just wasn't my day I guess.
