Chapter 7

When you finally drift to sleep, you seem to awake in a field. It was sunny and the only sounds were the wind blowing and the birds chirping. You walk around and found someone. It was... Jason? You make your way over to him and sit down. Jason looked over at you. "(Y/N), I..." "Shut up. I don't want to hear it." You both sat in silence for a while. "Listen I- I mean I didn't... Ugh... What I'm trying to say is-" "What? Cat got your tongue?" You chuckle as he collected his thoughts. "I didn't mean to break it okay?" The sudden outburst had made you jump. "I had messed up and that wasn't right of me. I never should of entered your live, (Y/N)..." You didn't know what to say, but you rested your head on his arm. He was extremely tense. He was also taller than you thought he was. "I just wanted to bring back your childhood for you... And I couldn't even do that. I understand if you hate me..." "Woah what? I may be mad but what you did was nice... Thank you..." You couldn't really see it but he was smiling. "You should wake up now. The animals are calling." As soon as he said that, you woke up.

Getting ready for work wasn't hard because it was a pretty easy uniform. The hard part about it was that Sapphire wouldn't leave you alone. You left and said goodbye to Griffin and Sapphire. The entire day, though, you couldn't stop thinking of Jason. He was in your thoughts throughout the day. It was sweet of him, really. You were happy when you saw the doll but it just freaked you out that it looked like you.

The day went on normally with nothing happening. Jason learned his lesson from disturbing you during work. When you left, you did what you do everyday, relax for a little at home then make dinner. Except now, Sapphire wouldn't stop meowing and sitting on your chest. "Don't worry about making dinner! I can do it tonight!" Griffin yelled up the stairs. "Got it! Just be careful!" While laying there, you decided to take a short nap. When you fell asleep, you opened your eyes to the same green field. Jason was next to you.

"What are you doing here again, (Y/N)? It's not night already, right?" "No. I'm just taking a nap." He didn't seem happy by that answer. "Naps are short, and so is our time. Time moves faster here than normal." "Time does fly when you're having fun." You both sat in silence until he looked at you with those green-yellow eyes of his. Such an odd color. "You can't stay for long... Maybe in a minute you will need to go." "But I want to stay here with you." Jason's cheeks turned a light pink, adding color to his pale skin. "Wh-what?" "I didn't really like you at first because I thought you were some dude stalking me. But you're generally a nice person and... I want to be your friend." He smiled. "I would enjoy that, (Y/N)."
