While Matteo spent time with his father and with Josh and Eliza who he also managed to find, Damon spent time with Stefan in a bar.
"You've given up! Now you could sit around and be his little bitch, or you get mad enough and you can do something about it." Damon tried to rile his brother into joining him in trying to get rid of Klaus.
"Damon, he can't be killed."
"Maybe I can help with that." A voice called from behind the boys. "The Salvatore boys, I presume?"
"Mikael." Stefan said.
"You're the vampire vampire hunter, Klaus is scared of?" Damon didn't look convinced.
"You should watch your mouth, boy. I have no issues with killing you and your brother then going after Klaus."
"Except you have no idea where he is and we're your best bet at killing him. But by all means, go on and kill us. Spend another thousand years running after him." Damon rolled his eyes.
"Or maybe, I'll kill you and leave your brother alive. As far as I'm concerned, you're dead weight."
"We do this, we want one guarantee."
"I won't kill you." Mikael said, bored.
"Or our friends." Damon added.
"Or your friends."
"I want your word."
"You have my word."
"Good, because one of our friends is your daughter. And our brother is going to marry her."
"Rebekah? I have no intention of killing her anyways."
"Oh, we don't care about Rebekah. I'm talking about your other daughter. Siobhan."
"Who?" Mikael frowned.
"Oh, that's right, she changed her name. Your youngest daughter. The twin."
"Silvia? She's still alive?" Mikael looked surprised.
"Yeah, she goes by Siobhan now. You leave her out of all this."
"Silvia's dead, so shut your mouth. I don't know who told you about her."
"She's very much alive. Thanks to your wife, apparently."
"How do you know her?"
"She's older now, looks about mid twenties. Marrying our other brother. Not only will you not kill them, she can't know you're here or that you plan to kill Klaus."
"What do you mean?"
"She and my brother have no tolerance for killing anyone whatsoever. All they'd do is try to stop us."
"I would never kill Silvia."
"Funny, because from what I hear, she hated you." Stefan smirked.
"That's true, but I never hated her. We had our differences, but she's my youngest child."
"We have a deal. You'll only kill Klaus, no one else?"
"Deal." Mikael shook Damon's hand.

When Matteo sat up on the crappy motel bed, he had a smile on his face. He got out of the bed and walked out of his room and checked out at the front desk before getting into his car. He drove to the Grill, guessing that that was where Olly would be. He was right. Oliver was sitting at the bar currently trying to flirt with a woman.
"Hey Olly." Matteo smiled. "Who's your friend?"
"Matteo." Oliver rolled his eyes. "This is-"
"I'm Amanda." She introduced.
"Hello Amanda. Nice to meet you. I'm Olly's friend."
"Nice to meet you too." She paused, waiting for someone to say something but was only met with silence. "I should get going, really, but I had fun, Olly. Thank you." She walked off. Matteo got a napkin and wrote down Olly's number, before catching up to her outside the Grill.
"Hey, Amanda. I interrupted something between you and Olly, and I'm sorry." He apologised and she smiled up at him. "Tell you what though, here's Olly's number, and he's a good guy, so if you feel like giving him a chance, you know how to reach him."
"Thank you." She smiled. "You're a good wingman."
"Olly's one of my best friends." Matt shrugged and Amanda put a hand on his shoulder.
"Tell Olly I'll call him."
"Will do." Matteo smiled and walked back into the Grill.
"What do you need?" Olly rolled his eyes.
"Firstly, calm down. She'll call you. And I spoke to him. My dad. He was pissed at first. He doesn't like vampires."
"You didn't tell him."
"I don't know how the elders would react. Better safe than sorry."
"Good call. How was it?"
"After he got over the whole vampire thing, we just talked. I told him I was getting married."
"And how did he take that?"
"He asked me why I didn't get married a century ago."
"What did you say to that?"
"Um, I just said timing wasn't right. Next time, I'm taking Siobhan to meet him."
"Are you sure that's a good idea? Didn't it take you, like, five years the last time?"
"I love Siobhan, and I'm marrying her. I think it's only appropriate that he should meet her."
"Are you going to ask her father for her hand in marriage?"
"Well her dad's trying to kill all her siblings and she wants some of her siblings there, so I doubt he'll be there or know about it. Besides last we heard, he was locked in a coffin in a cemetery, and as long as Damon doesn't go through with his threat to wake Mikael up..." Matteo trailed off.
"Everything I've heard about your brother? Damon's probably already tried to wake him up."
"Yeah." Matteo sighed, finishing Olly's shot.
"If that's the case, you're gonna need a hell of a lot more than a glass."
"Yeah." Matteo sighed again. "Let's just take a second before we figure out if all hell's broken loose yet."
"Copy that." Olly ordered two glasses of bourbon.
