Everyone gathered around the casket. Phoenix couldn't believe how quickly it happened. One moment Ocean was there and now she's being lowered down into a grave. Water dripped onto her head. Everyone pulled out their umbrellas and put them up.

Phoenix stared out her window into the moonlight. Usually her and Ocean would talk until they both drifted to sleep but now she had no-one. Quickly Phoenix grabbed the bit of drift wood leaning against her wall and ran downstairs and into the living room. She laid the wood out, placed her pillow on it, laid down and pulled a blanket over herself. She laid there reliving what just happened a few days ago. Crash! Ocean was pulled under the by the waves. Franticly Phoenix dived under searching as quickly as she could but Ocean was no where. Something bumped into her and she soon realised it was drift wood from the boat. She raced up to the surface and leaned against the wood but she was too weary so she fell unconscious. She woke up to random faces peering down at her. She jumped but then remembered what had just happened. "Where's my friend!" she screamed. They all looked around questioningly. Then everything faded to black again as she dropped off to sleep.

"AHHH!" There was that loud scream again. No she knew what this was.. She was back in the water, in the sea there was Ocean, helpless. Phoenix knew she could do nothing this was going to turn out like last time she was just going to drown but Phoenix couldn't leave her there. Again like before she dived into the waves but this time she swam under and grabbed Oceans foot. Ocean freaked, slipped and hit her head.

Phoenix woke up beads of sweat pouring down her face and her blanket wrapped her up like a mummy. "It was just a dream," she reassured herself and went back to bed.

But no she couldn't escape it. She was back in the water again. Just as before in the distance she could see Ocean. Phoenix thought she would try a different tactic than before but it was a bust and it always ends with Oceans final deathly scream like a ghost or a ghoul crying off into the pale moonlight as it shone down onto the ghastly world before them.
