Its been a week since the promise. 

And its been a day since her passing. 

We visit her after hearing about the news during that day, and her family cried while we both watched. 

You were in pain, but you held it all in. 

You didn't cry.

You didn't say a word. 

You watched her, lifeless in her hospital bed. 

She passed away over night, she pass peacefully, didn't she?

I am glad she did. 

The pain that the dragon trapped her in, have finally ended. 

It was unfair that no knight could kill Cancer. 

I looked at you, and I reached for your hand. 

I don't know why, but I held your hand. 

You didn't pull away, you just stared. 

I squeezed it to bring you back from your thoughts.

Your polluted mind shouldn't distract you from this, Changkyun. 

You looked at me, your dull eyes looking as though you were lifeless, yourself. 

You were dying, and I don't know how to save you, Changkyun. 

After the whole event, I walked you home, you left inside without a goodbye. I left to my own home in silence, also. 

I broke down in my own room. 

I felt like I broke the promise.
