CHAPTER 3: the prophecy: -Part 1-
I was too stunned to speak; I am the daughter of Poseidon, the sea god.
"That's impossible, the sea god???SO not me," I exclaimed.
"Not you? Alex, water is the only thing that describes you! In school you the #1 champion on the swim team. You know every single Ocean, Sea, river in the whole world!" said Grover. "The sea is you, Alex, your calm, you go with flow. You're naturally a graceful person...and you are beautiful too," I think Grover blushed at that last part.
"Thanks," I giggled. "Wow, I can't believe it. I knew there was some reason he was always my favorite,"
"Yes, dad is very special, he did help me a lot on the quest I had last year," said Percy, then suddenly his expression became serious. "Oh, man I said too much, uh anyway do you want a tour of the camp?"
"Uhh yea I guess, thanks," I said trying to figure out everything he had just said. I looked straight at him as he and Grover, walked out of the curtains, and I followed. When I moved the white Linen curtain out of my face, I found my self in a large Cabin, with many beds outlining the walls. I turned my head to find a very messy bed. It had clothes spouted everywhere... lots of weapon and uh some under garments. Percy must have seen me gag at the mess so he quickly walked over to the bed, his cheeks red with embarrassment.
"Um.. I'm really sorry, not used to having people around here, "he said cleaning everything up. I and Grover stood there laughing as he stuffed everything under his bed.
"It's ok Percy, I'm used to Grover doing it too," I said in between my laughs. Grover suddenly stops laughing
"Hey!" he said then burst out laughing again and we all joined him.
"Ok, ok I really would like to get on with that tour," I said to Percy while clutching my throbbing stomach from all that laughing.
'Oh right" said Percy as walked out the door. Grover followed him while I followed Grover out the door. As soon as I stepped out something sharp flew right past me and hit the door behind me. I let out a small scream and quickly turned my head to see who that was. Standing in the middle of the field was a girl, of about 16 or 17. She was wearing a black t-shirt that said CAMP HALF-BLOOD in white and a pair of red skinny jeans. Her black hair was pulled back in a pony tail and she was holding a bow and some arrows. She slowly walked up to me.
"You've got great reflexes..."she said to me.
"Thanks," I said extending my hand at her, "i am Alex,"
"I am Thalia," she replies and shakes my hand. "I have a feeling were going to get along well,"
"Whoa! Back off Thalia," said this one guy. I turned around to see a guy of about 18. He had blonde hair and beautiful blue eyes. "She is all mine," he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and ran away. What? What just happened?
"This is what happens when you're the new kid," Thalia said, laughing.
"Don't take them seriously, they're just playing,"
"Oh ok," I said grinning... And blushing.
"Chiron is ready for you," said Grover
"Chiron? Who's that," I asked
