Chapter 24: Tigers Cheer Practice

Bryden's POV

It's Monday and today is Maya's first day of cheer practice. While Maya is at school, I go out with the baby and bought her some new cheer shoes and spandex and bows. I bought Arielle some new shoes and bought some new shoes for me. After I payed and walked out the store, I checked the time and saw it was already 3:00. I rushed to the car, put the baby in and the stuff in then drove to Maya's school. I saw Maya waiting for me at the gate and I got out and helped her get in.

"Hi Mommy!"

"Hey Maya." *hug*

"Why are you late?"

"I was shopping for new cheer stuff."

"YAYYYYY"

I chuckled and started driving home. Once we got home, I made Maya a sandwich and helped her with her homework. Once it was 5:00, Maya and the baby were ready and I got them both in the car. I put the wagon in the trunk and I started driving to the field. Once we got there, i saw the football boys playing and her coach waiting. I get the baby in her stroller and got Maya out. I locked the door and walked over to her .

"Hey!"

"Hey girl how are you?"

"I'm good, how about you."

"I'm straight. Maya you ready for practice?"

"Yes."

"Thats good."

I went up on the bleachers and as 5:30 rolled around, most of the girls were here and they started practice with learning their hello cheers. After the icebreaker, the girls did some new cheers and I looked over at the baby and she was awake. Once she saw my eyes, she started crying. I took her out and started rocking her up and down. The coach was teaching them some stunts and they went over some things.

End of practice

At the end, the girls gathered around and they all talked. Then they called down the practice

"Ok everyone, so there is going to be a scrimmage so we are going to cheer at that so i will have their uniforms then. They will be blue and white and girls are required to wear red lipstick and hair in a bun."

All the parents nodded their heads and the girls put their hand in the middle.

"TIGERS ON 3, TIGERS ON 3, 123"

And everyone yells "TIGERS! YOU KNOWWW"

We all say bye and I put the baby in her car seat and Maya pushled the stroller to the car. I put the baby in and put in her bag. Maya got in by herself so I got in and started driving home. When we got home I took everything out and opened the door. We go in and I put the baby in her room upstairs and bring her baby monitor. I take Maya a bath and we both sit down downstairs and watch a movie.

9:30 pm

"Alright Maya time to go to bed."

"Awwwww, but Daddy isn't here."

"I know sweetheart but it's time to go to sleep."

"Ok."

We stand up and as I was walking to the stairs. The door opens and we look back and see D in his police uniform.

"DADDYYYYYY."

She runs and gives him a big hug.

"Hey Maya! How was your first day of cheer?"

"It was so fun, we are having a scrimmage soon"

"That's Good baby."

She yawns and he picks her up
