I wake up to hear D cuss under his breath while putting his shirt on.
"Fuck."
"What's wrong baby?"
"I'm fucking late! I'm not gonna be able to take Maya to school."
"It's cool, I'll take her."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah now get out of here before you are hella late."
He chuckles and leans down to kiss me and kiss my stomach.
"Love you."
"Love you too, be safe."
He leaves the room and I slowly get out of bed and put my robe on and go wake up Maya.
"Morning boo boo, it's time to wake up."
She wakes up and starts to stretch.
"Good morning mommy."
I smile and say,
"Good morning baby, now get ready before you get late."
"Isn't daddy supposed to take me to school?"
"He was late for work so he had to go, imma take you today."
"Ok!"
She gets out of bed and gives me a hug and goes into her closet and comes out with a cute outfit.

We go in the bathroom and I help her take a shower and change her into her outfit and help her put her white huaraches on. I added mousse to her already braided hair.

She gets her backpack and goes downstairs and I go into the baby's room and pick her up and kiss her cheek. I quickly change her diaper and go downstairs. We see Maya put her bowl in the sink. I get my car keys and we go outside. I lock the door and put Arielle in her car seat and Maya gets in by herself. I get in my seat and start the car, I pull out of the driveway and start driving to Maya's school. I turn on my playlist and Drip too Hard by Lil Baby starts to play and I sing along to it and Maya giggles. I look back at them and smile. I turn around and pull into her schools parking lot and I get out the car and open Maya's door and help her out. I get the baby out and I walk with Maya in the office because she was late. I open the door and go up to the desk.
