Chapter 2: Midoriya..? ↫

Shinsou put his phone down on the table in front of him, waving at Monoma.

Monoma waved back and walked out of the shop.

After Monoma left he heard a few whispers from booths and tables, about how Monoma had called him a ‘villain’, but he wasn’t paying attention at that moment.

He opened his phone up, and texted the following:

“Hey, try not to die on your way to work”

Before he could click send one of the workers walked over to him.

“Know him from somewhere?” She asked, gesturing to the door Monoma had walked out of.

“Yeah, from back in highschool.. During the sports festival-”

“Ohh! That was you! I seen you fight against Midoriya! The old pro? I think that was his name.” She said cutting him off.

“Yeah that was Midoriya... Hmm i wonder what he’s doing now..” Shinsou trailed off, thinking.

“Anywho, here’s your bill Shinsou-” The girl said, handing him a slip of paper, not able to finish her sentence.

“Mm, thanks.” He looked down at the paper.  

“Why isn’t there a price?” he questioned, looking at the blank space where the ‘Total’ usually was.

“Oh uh, the blonde paid for it. You cut me off, aheh..” She said.

‘So he already knew who i was… hah he must've known what he was doing..’

Shinsou thought to himself.

Shinsou clicked send on the message and put his phone in his pocket, standing up.

Before he stood, the girl was looking slightly down to meet his eyes, but when he stood up, he was instantaneously taller than her.

She looked up at him and said, “Thanks for coming again!”

He nodded and walked out the door.

Meanwhile, Monoma was driving when he suddenly got a message.

“Read Message.” He said, pressing a button on his car.

“Hey, try not to die on your way to work. Message from, Shinsou.”

Monoma laughed at the stupid message and kept driving.

‘I wonder if he already got the bill..’ He thought, looking forward.

“Would you like to respond?” The car asked, after a second.

“Yes.”

“What would you like to say?”

“I’ll try, but no promises.”

“Message sent.”

Monoma noticed the building and pulled over to park in his spot.
