Chapter 3: A 'Date'↫

[First off, i wanna say thank you to those people on the “My Hero Academia” Amino, that i roleplayed with. You have created a nickname i can’t get out of my head. Also, there’s a reference to something my friend and i said one night when they were at my house]

Monoma walked out of his work’s building, heading to his car.

After he got in he shut the door and started it up.

He didn’t really want to go home yet, so he decided to go to the coffee shop he was at that morning.

As he drove down the road he clicked a button on his car.

“Message, Shinsou”

“What would you like to say?”

“Hey, i'm on my way to the coffee shop, if you want to meet up again?”

“Message Sent.”

He remembered Shinsou from Highschool, and how he had admired his quirk so much.

He still admired him but it wasn’t his quirk he admired, it was just him in general.

Monoma started blushing just saying that to himself.

He then shook his head, trying not to think about Shinsou anymore, but trying not to just made him think about the other guy even more.

He kept thinking about him until he pulled up at the coffee shop.

He was too busy battling his thoughts to realize that Shinsou had messaged him back a while ago.

When Monoma stepped into the shop, Shinsou was waiting for him in the same booth as that morning.

When he met Shinsou’s eyes, all the thoughts from the car came rushing back to him and his face turned slightly red as he looked down.

He then walked over to Shinsou, and sat down in front of him, the table separating them.

“I see you made it.” Shinsou said, smiling.

“Yeah- oh did you get anything to drink or eat yet?” Monoma asked.

“Well.. no..actually,” Shinsou laughed slightly “Because i planned on eating somewhere a bit more suitable for dinner.”

“Oh? Why did you come here then?” Monoma asked, tilting his head.

“So i could ask if you wanted to come with?” Shinsou said, rubbing the back of his neck.

‘Damn that was smooth’ Monoma said to himself.

Instead of saying that, he just responded, in his cocky way,

“Woah, hold on i only met you again yesterday, you're already asking me on a da-”

Shinsou cut him off by saying,

“Well, if you don’t wanna come with me that’s fine too..”

Monoma shut up and nodded.
