Chapter 2

"Whoa, you gotta be kidding me, right?" I said, but he shook his head.

"I'm really not."

"Are you one of the popular kids or..."

"No. But every single girl calls me handsome."

"You have really piercing blue eyes," I admired. Hey Kelly, take it easy, don't jump to the conclusion. He grimaced.

"Well, let's start tomorrow," he said, putting his sword back in place. Six PM straight. If you aren't there, it's canceled. Even if you're late. Got it?"

"Er, got it!"

"Meet you later. Plus, you look better without your makeup," he added as he ran towards his cabin. "Your blonde curls are nice."

"How did you know I had makeup on?" I leaped towards my cabin and entered. Nobody, perfectly quiet. The floors creaked with every step I took. I saw my beds, two bunk beds all for myself. Darn, I forgot to bring my luggage.

I looked into the bathroom, my toothbrush. "What?" And my toothpaste, soap, shampoo, lipstick, eye liner, conditioner, face cream, and many other stuff were there.

"It's a new system." I turned around and saw Annabeth standing there.

"I'm so sorry what happened earlier," I apologized. It felt weird. I never apologized to someone ever. It almost felt like I was being sarcastic. Annabeth smiled.

"Our new system is that all of your belongings that you need in your mind come to here immediately, it's done by magic," she said.

"Oh."

"Enjoy your stay. I already placed your favorite stuffed animal on your bed, and your favorite bed sheets and blankets."

I looked at my bed. Everything was there.

"It's six," Annabeth said, looking at the clock, "you should get to sleep."

"It's only six!" I snapped.

"Well, most people go to sleep at six."

"What about my school...?"

"No worries. We already told the school that you had camp for an year, it's an emergency to leave your school."

"Wait, so I'm never-"

"Yes, you are going back, but not now. In an year," Annabeth said.

"That's torture," I huffed, folding my arms in front of my chest.

"Lights out," Annabeth smiled, closing the lights as she went out of the room.

Sorry, I'm not the perfect listener you guys expect me to be.

I jump out of bed, clutching onto Chole, my stuffed teddy bear. I wore on my bunny flip flops and went exploring the room. A bookshelf suddenly appeared, filled with my favorite books. I jumped back in surprise. Then, a portrait of cherry blossoms appeared on top, and my lamp went right next to my bed. I placed it in the corner of the room and turned it on. Just in case someone comes into the room and tries to kill me. Especially Ryma.

I tore off my armor and my pajamas appeared. Okay?

I took off my shirt and put on my pajamas, they were so fluffy and comfy, they were my favorite pair.

There was a storm outside. The clouds turned lamp black as the strong wind made the windows shutter and create clattering noises. I groaned as I tossed and turned on my bed. Where are a pair of headphones when you need one? I decided stay awake for the night. I planned to sneak outside.
