Annabeth's POV

It's been 1 year. 1 year sense Percy was sent on a quest and still hadn't returned.

————————-—Flashback 1 year ago—————

There was a knock on my cabin door pulling me away from my book.

"Come in" I said and who ever was there opened the door and stepped in closing it softly behind them. I looked up to see Percy standing there a sad grim look on his face.

I set down my book next to me. "Hey Perc what's up?"

He didn't respond, he walk up to me and sat down next to me. Putting his arm around me and pulling me close so my head was resting on his shoulder.

"Perc what's wrong?" I asked quietly. He let out a sigh.

"Annabeth" he started "I've been assigned a quest I leave in the morning.

The world around me froze and I tensed. He must have sensed me tense because he lifted my head up, his hand under my chin and brought my lips to his. And in the one kiss he poured in so much passion and love, me struggling to give him just as much.

Slowly we pulled away pressing our foreheads together, both breathing kinda heavily.

"What's the quest for?" I asked him. "Powerful demigod in the West I have to go get him."

"Can't I go with you?" I pleaded "No" He said "This is one I have to do alone."

Sighing I defeat I agreed "Alright let's get you packed" And with that I got up and walked out of the cabin with him by my side his arm wrapped around my waist.

—————————————————Present time————————————

I sat under Thalia's tree staring down half-blood hill.  I did this most days during the past year. I'ed sit for mostly the whole day waiting and waiting for Percy to return, but with every day I lossed more and more hope. And on the exact day it turned into a year he had been gone I had to make my self go one more time before I lossed all hope forever.

I sat under the tree all day. Thinking, reading, and just starting up into space. I stayed there all day until I saw the sun finally start to set. I sighed, he wasn't coming back and I had to except it. I stood up to return to my cabin for bed when I say a limping figure down the hill. Unsure of what it was I drew my dagger and slowly creeped down the hill.

Once I was half way down and stoped and dropped my dagger immediately. That limping figure had messy black hair and the beautiful sea green eyes I had fallen in love with over the past few years where starting back at me. Snapping out of my trance I ran and tackled him in a giant bear hug.

"You idiot" i wishpered "You had us worried half to Hades" He chuckled lightly. "Sorry" He said in a low raspy voice. "Didn't mean to scare you. Sorry for being gone so long" he apologized

"There isn't no need to be sorry"I told him " All that matters is that your alive and your back" We shared a smile and slowly I helped him up the hill and back in to the safety of Camp.

Ok how was that for a new oneshot? Sorry if it's a little short it's all I could think of and I really wan't to get a one shot out for you guys so yeah. Hope you all enjoyed and as usually please comment, vote and everthimg else and I will see you all soon. Bye!
